23.01.2022 Great week on the water and in the workshop. 2 unexpected sessions on Monday and Tuesday then last night going off........ Thanks to Bob for taking time out of his day to shoot.

23.01.2022 Classic from the one and one Cauncy....... a great bit of banter on the local Perth Kitesurfing Gang Facebook page.

18.01.2022 Got the A-team on it today......... a bit of sewing, lots of leaks, zephys being unpicked - you name it were onto it. Welcome back DOZER!!!

18.01.2022 Whilst I may not be considered an 'essential service' I am in a lucky position to be able to remain open throughout the current crisis...... A number of crew are still managing to get sessions and I'm amazed to still be as busy as I am. Meanwhile if your not kiting and have been sat on those jobs you were 'waiting until the end of the season' for then now is the time to get them dropped off - my usual winter trips are all on hold so i will be at the workshop or practising so...cial distancing on the water nearby. Stay safe Ry

14.01.2022 In case you haven't heard the whispers - I'm off for some more of this on Saturday. I'll be gone until the 9th for a break before things get even more manic. I'll be working hard right through till Friday but obviously big jobs may now have to wait until I get back. Dropoffs can be arranged whilst I'm away so hit me up but be patient as the phone signal in paradise isn't the best. Cheers Ry

13.01.2022 I'm back!!!!! Over 3500kms on the trusty Navara in 12 days. Gonna need a bloody good clean but not before I get stuck into the pile of repairs waiting for me. Season is on and I'm in the workshop most day. ... Cheers Ry

12.01.2022 Sometimes it's just not possible/economical to repair....... don't worry though if this is the case I can source either origional or aftermarket spares for your kite. Even on the rare occasion that I can't get hold of something I'm always happy to advise on which local shop will stock or order the appropriate item.

09.01.2022 Bit of fun at the pond today and a bbq/beer at sbyc after

08.01.2022 Wow - so what an off-season we've had. Wind and waves have been good and you guys have kept me extremely busy - thanks As you may have noticed I have been on a bit of a Sail Doctor social media blackout during this supposedly quieter period but I guess it's time to ramp it all up again so apologies in advance for the regular updates from now on. It's going to be a mad season over here in WA despite the lack of tourists I've noticed a massive upsurge in off-season kiters an...d the immergence of Wind Wings has also added to my workload and the numbers on the water. Seabreezes are starting to creap in so it's time to dust off your kite and give it a check over before the seasons properly kicks off. Hit me up for any advice and queries and see you either in the workshop or on the water Ry

07.01.2022 Just when you think you have got on top of the workload and all the spare parts you're waiting on rock up. Winds back - I'm still hectic

06.01.2022 Finally - duotone and 'old north' pump adaptors are back in stock. I know these have been difficult to get hold of lately so hit me up if you're in need. Ry Edit - Thanks to Brad for reminding me that these are also suitable for core kites

05.01.2022 Bloody lovely seebreeze last weekend - always fun chuckng down some moves and shredding with the groms!!! Its not gonna be so warm this weekend but still plenty of breeze around so although I am open pls touch base before heading over to avoid missing me. Ry Cheers Ben Swart for filming

05.01.2022 A heap of wings in for repair recently. These 2 weren't looking as 'Smik' As they should have been. Big leading edge blowouts, a canopy rip and both required some major bladder works too....... Back together now and ready to head down to Margs tomorrow for another wave mission

04.01.2022 Don't suppose I can complain really 1.45 on a Sunday and this is the 3rd repair of the day to come in. Gotta love a cold front

03.01.2022 Like your podcasts??? This is what I've had on the wireless the last few weeks. Not just kiting related - but some awesome insights into the characters behind all sorts of sports. To top it off Rou is a bloody legend who i first met standing on the beach 10 minutes before the start of a very light wind L2L race - I came in to avoid dropping my 15m foil kite and asked him "do you know what your doing", he replied something along the lines of "I like to think so" so we stood o...n the beach crossed kites and chatted for 5 mins whilst watching the carnage unfold then both completes a really sketchy race. I have another entertaining story regarding the afterparty and the now famous socky-thongy (flip-flops to non Aussies) changeover but we'll leave that one for another day eh mate #intriguingbeings #iksurfmag #socksoverthongs

02.01.2022 Wow...... how did we manage 4 races today!?!? Stated in 15 knot westerly and and quickly changed to wsw 25 knots. Everyone did amazingly well considering the conditions. The course was very difficult and newcomers handled it like pros. The girls won the mega quick kite change prize today - how they changed down so quickly I don't know.... Mix it up and get involved - why do the same things every session??? Give TTR a try

02.01.2022 Think I owe Jumpin Johnny a freebie - the bloody legend has bush rigged the old aircon unit again........ No longer do I have fan or cooling options but she's cranking again - this old girl kept the crew at Action Sports cool for years before we stuck it in the workshop and somehow it's back up and going again. Repairs in the cool whoop whoop

02.01.2022 Down in Augusta for the weekend...... if anyone needs pickups between here and Perth hit me up - I'll be travelling back tomorrow late morning. Ry

01.01.2022 Well that's it guys - first storm of winter done and another week of light breeze ahead....... A few repairs in already and I'm feeling very sore after taking some hard hits. How did everyone fair? Let's hear your storm stories. Ry
