22.01.2022 Its about time for the coriander argument. Im on the love it side, how about you???

22.01.2022 This seedling had to grow legs to pull the leaves out #thesaladtable

21.01.2022 After a couple of weeks inside, I move my seedlings outside to harden them up before breaking them off and putting them in The Salad Table #thesaladtable

20.01.2022 The winter herbs and veggies are growing gangbusters #thesaladtable

20.01.2022 Have you ever grown mizuna, a Japanese mustard green? It has a pronounced peppery flavour and would have to be one of the fastest growing plants I have ever grown in The Salad Table. I planted it last weekend and will be ready for the plate in about a weeks time.

19.01.2022 Theres a Salad Table somewhere under these cherry tomato vines. Thanks for sharing Matt on the Sunshine Coast, QLD #thesaladtable

19.01.2022 You never know where your garden will grow best. This Salad Table loves the industrial feel up against the shed. Thanks for the pic Tia

17.01.2022 I bet you cant plant this fast in a dirt garden!!!

16.01.2022 By my calculations the BIG Salad Table currently has about 92,000 individual stir fry dishes!!! Do you like Pak Choy?

16.01.2022 Woooo hoooo we are finally getting some rain

15.01.2022 First time for me growing Kailan and really enjoying it. These are 3 weeks in (from seedlings) and should be ready to harvest next week.

14.01.2022 What a fantastic time of the year to grow your own. The weather here in SE QLD is very nice at the moment and you can almost hear the plants growing

13.01.2022 What's your favourite from scratch bread recipe? (just asking for a friend) I have (i mean he has) plenty of fresh herbs to add...

10.01.2022 Im mowing down the micro greens like a bloke stuck at home. Luckily thats where we make all our products so its business (almost) as usual. Stay safe, stay home and dont forget to eat something healthy

10.01.2022 I hope everyone is doing ok. We are currently business as usual at The Salad Table, as normal as it can be in these crazy times. I will keep you informed on any supply or delivery issues if they eventuate. Meanwhile, keep on growing all your fresh herbs and veggies at home and don't forget to wash your hands The pic is of our farm that will keep supplying basil, shallots and other varieties to "those" who don't grow their own...Don't be one of "those"!!! Cheers, Denis

09.01.2022 Now this would have to be the most natural way to control caterpillar. Every ant is carrying one back to the nest about 200m away and there are literally 10s of thousands of them. Now Im not sure whether Im running a veggie farm or an ant farm

09.01.2022 Hows your lettuce growing at the moment? Check out the midi cos on our farm growing like crazy in the big Salad Table. Its such a great time of the year for many varieties of herbs and veggies

08.01.2022 Another load of seedlings ready to go in The Salad Table this weekend. Theres basil, mixed baby lettuce, coriander, rainbow silver beet, baby broccoli, spring onion, parsley, Pak Choi, kale, rocket, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and for the first time Im going to experiment with corn and carrots

08.01.2022 Growing hydroponically has many advantages over soil and one of the biggest is being able to check for root health. Its like doing a CT scan, an MRI, blood pressure check and an ECG all in one. This little mustard green passed with flying colours

07.01.2022 Whoops, I didn’t know he was growing in there!!! I’m gonna have to learn to like radish now.

07.01.2022 Another happy Salad Table Owner

06.01.2022 These little seedlings should be ready to go for a spring planting in a couple of weeks. Our grow cubes are perfect for seeding, transplanting and then supporting the root system until harvest. #thesaladtable #growyourown #hydroponics

04.01.2022 Finding seeds lately has been all but impossible - until now. One of our Salad Table owners runs an Aussie owned small business and has a bountiful supply and a "growing" range of veggie, herb, microgreen and sprouting seeds. I have just ordered the entire range and can't wait to get them all going (especially the rainbow chard and snow peas) Thanks Virginia https://www.facebook.com/plantandeatveggies/ https://plant-and-eat-australia.myshopify.com/

04.01.2022 The BIG Salad Table is producing more basil than you could pesto...

04.01.2022 The difference in growth in only 1 week. Another 2 weeks and these Pak Choy will be on the plate #thesaladtable #growyourown

03.01.2022 We have just reloaded our entire 52 plant Salad Table with Trellis with green oak lettuce, cos lettuce, book Choy, wombok cabbage, coriander, dill, rocket, kale, mizuna and a couple of other varieties that I cant remember what the seeds were

02.01.2022 Ive called this accidental 2 variety plant Dilliander. 2 seed types in one grow cube. Give it a go, and then give it a name

02.01.2022 Whoops, I didnt know he was growing in there!!! Im gonna have to learn to like radish now.

01.01.2022 I made this stir fry recipe up as i went along and it turned out way above my normal standards Picked fresh from The Salad Table - Choy Coriander... Fenugreek Rocket Rainbow chard Brown 500g of cubed chicken breast in a wok with a tad of extra virgin olive oil. Sprinkle in a splash or splash in a sprinkle of balsamic vinegar. Add chopped fresh produce from The Salad Table and stir in. I then cheated and used a touch of Japanese teriyaki sauce for extra flavour. Stir and fry for a few minutes while sipping chosen beverage. Add Singapore noodles then serve hot in a bowl.

01.01.2022 Amaranth is growing like a weed on the big Salad Table.
