10.01.2022 Extra Large Garfish The extra large garfish run at the fresh fish market has started earlier this season, with numbers coming in fairly regularly. We have fulf...illed our existing orders and now have some availability, or can take additional orders. All our garfish are graded by size (3, 4, 5, 6, 6+ per kilogram), vacuum sealed in long lasting bags and immediately snap frozen straight. We look after the fish, and package them properly to ensure a premium product when used. The fish have a freezer life of up to two years. As mentioned previously, it is the XL southern garfish season at the moment and there is currently a good supply from market. We sort, grade, vacuum seal in long life bags and freeze the fish straight so that they are a premium product with a freezer life exceeding a year. If you are planning future trips, now is a good time to get the garfish as the season generally ends in early spring and there is no supply from that point on. We also have good supply of our freshly frozen high quality baits including octopus, mulies direct from the fisherman, scalies, herring, whiting and mullet of all size classes.
