17.01.2022 It's Christmas in July in Scottsdale! We celebrated the birth of Jesus and remembered why He came to this earth. Emmanuel - God with us. The reading from Luke 2:1-14 tells us of "The Good News of Great Joy!" Our reading from Matthew 2:1-10 asks us to think about "How do we respond to this Good News?" Maybe we should follow Ebeneezer Scrooge's advice -"I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year."

May we be filled with wisdom, knowing how to live in these times and to serve one another. May you grant wisdom wisdom to The Salvation Army in Australia. Guide our leaders with wisdom that comes from you. Amen.
