14.01.2022 ~ Kind Self ~ One Month Challenge Hello everyone, I have created a one month Kind Self Challenge to bring more kindness towards ourselves, to support, stretch, and inspire each other. ... Personally, becoming Kinder to myself has changed my whole life. I started attracting in different kinds of relationships, as they were simply a reflection of what I started building within myself. I would love to welcome you to join this Challenge to support, stretch, and inspire each other. The question each day, will be: What did you do today, to show yourself kindness and love? You can reflect on something, you can share one word, or simply place an emoticon that represents your act of Self Kindness. It does not really matter if it is pausing for a 5 minutes break with a cup of tea, or for getting some sun rays on your face, getting a massage, acknowledging your achievements, or encouraging and appreciating yourself. What matters is to simply be aware when you do this. Be aware that in this moment you are being Kind to yourself, and you are showing yourself so much needed love, respect, and appreciation for who you are. Acknowledge the act of Self Love that you are offering yourself. After one month, I will collect it all together in a PDF format and share it here, for all of you to use, with all the ideas that we have, so you can use it in the future, perhaps use it in sessions with your clients, or simply share with your neighbor that is currently struggling during covid, etc. The more ways we can come up with to love ourselves, the better for everyone. : ) The challenge is starting on Monday 7th of September. 08.01.2022 Have you ever felt like a failure? I have definitely experienced this a number of times before. It made me feel like wanting to give up, and go back to my old life. Whether you feel like a failure in the area of work, family, relationships, health, or finances, it can leave you feeling like you want to give up, hide, be alone for the rest of your life, play small, or go into hibernation, waiting for better times to come. ... This is often related to our childhood experiences and memories, where at some stage we felt like a failure. Maybe your mum told you something that made you feel like there was no point to dream big and you have nothing to offer. Maybe it was your dad, school teacher, or colleague from school that told you, you were not good enough, and others were so much better than you. It is worth understanding the core of this, as the more awareness you have, the bigger possibility of transforming your pain into your power. This is also something that Forensic Healing or Mentoring can help you with. What is important in these moments, is to accept your emotions fully. Try not to hide them or escape from them. Rather, give them your full attention. They ask you to be seen, understood, and accepted. So be compassionate towards yourself, knowing that this is the echo of your old past memories and that they have nothing to do with the current YOU. Then, do the opposite to your response of hiding, playing small etc. if this is related to your career/business, do even more, create more, show up more. If it is related to relationships, do more for yourself show even more kindness to yourself, more love and care, and remember that we can only do our best in every moment. This will help you to break the old story of you not being good enough and feeling like a failure. And remember, all emotions are only temporary. They are here to teach us something very important, and we are the students to learn the lesson from this.
