25.01.2022 Today is International Teachers Day! The Scots College would like to thank all staff and teachers for their tremendous work and continued dedication towards Scots students and the College.

23.01.2022 Once in a lifetime opportunity! Scots A Band drummers were recently invited to feature and perform with Australian artist and actress, Delta Goodrem in her new Christmas video 'The Little Drummer Boy' at St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney. Delta was incredibly impressed with the professionalism of the boys' performance and was grateful to have their accompaniment during the shoot. Well done boys! #finescotsboy

21.01.2022 Congratulations to the inaugural Year 6 boys from the Brighton Preparatory School who have made history, being the first Year 6 cohort to have graduated from Brighton Prep. We look forward to welcoming you to the Senior School in 2021! #finescotsboy

20.01.2022 On Tuesday evening the full Year 6 cohort turned Junior Preparatory into Whoville for the Year 6 Musical ‘Seussical Jnr’. Capably managing the dynamic COVID-19 restrictions this year, boys performed without a stage, without an audience, without dramatic scenes and without ensemble singing ... but 'with' energy and commitment! #finescotsboy

20.01.2022 Last Friday 16 October, the annual Kindergarten to Year 1 Athletics Carnival was held. Although proceedings were a little different this year, with the help of Year 6 Sport Captains and ELC teachers, the boys had a great cheer squad in supporting them to achieve personal bests and most of all, having fun!

19.01.2022 Our first representative Theatresports teams from the Senior Prep Drama Company have taken out both first and second place in the COVID-safe distance-version of Improv Australia’s primary competition this week. The friendly competition was held remotely by Zoom, with the Junior Drama Company as the audience/judges. Well done boys!

17.01.2022 To the Class of 2020, you are halfway there! Keep going boys, you are nearly at the finish line of the HSC exams. Keep trying, keep striving, and keep reaching for those goals. There is no doubt your perseverance and dedication will be rewarded. #finescotsboy Photo credit: @dlrphoto

15.01.2022 Congratulations to the Class of 2020 for completing the HSC. Each and every one of you should be proud of what you have achieved and how hard you have worked. 13.01.2022 The Scots College recently interviewed Ms Brittany Shapcott, a trainee teacher with the Teaching Schools Alliance Sydney (TSAS) and here's what she had to say: "With other teaching degrees, you only do three-week practicals in a school, whereas in this program, I've spent this whole year with students. So I was able to see the students' progress, and I know their names and how they are as learners. This means that I can tailor my teaching specifically for them because I know them individually. That makes a huge difference, I think." Interested in teaching? Join the next TSAS virtual information session from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, Friday 23 October to find out more. 11.01.2022 On Thursday morning the Early Learning Centre boys enjoyed some fun in the sun, dressed in their team colours during their 'Fit n Fun' athletics event. This event showcases the skills and drills the boys have learnt during their PE lessons while encouraging team collaboration and exercise in the developmental years. #finescotsboy

04.01.2022 All the best to Year 12, Class of 2020 who begin their HSC exams today. The finish line is in sight and no matter the result, we know you will make your parents and Scots proud of what will be a mammoth finish to this extraordinary year. #scotstothefore

03.01.2022 To celebrate National Grandparents Day on Sunday 25 October, the Transition Lions boys have sewn dolls of themselves to gift to their grandparents. This wonderful and endearing activity not only delighted their grandparents near and far, but was also part of the class investigation, 'Back in Time'; where boys explored their grandparents' lives and how life was like for them when they were children. The boys were interested to know what their grandparents' favourite toy was and if they still had a favourite toy now? To the delight of the boys, they have discovered that their grandparents' favourite toy now is them, the plush toy grandchildren!

03.01.2022 The Early Learning Centre was a hive of activity this week where Kindergarten boys stepped up and became leaders to Cubs by sharing their skills and knowledge in a range of activities. This included sorting and matching shapes to folding origami. It was an enjoyable experience for all and there were smiles all round. Well done boys!
