25.01.2022 On Friday we were delighted to announce our new School Principal Mr Mark Geraets. Mr Geraets brings extensive international education and leadership experience, joining us this year from his role as Principal in Seoul, Korea. His commitment to pursue academic excellence and the values of courage, compassion and belonging within our teaching and learning community, will ensure the continued development of Scots students as critical thinkers, ready for a world of opportunities.

25.01.2022 Year 7 students have been focusing on the elements of drama, characterisation and theatre skills this term, through the formal study of the text Hitlers Daughter. Group rehearsals are in full swing with lighting, stage directions, props and costume design all part of the final performance this term.

25.01.2022 As the School continues to grow, the Year 5 students have been actively involved in designing the new Junior School space (as well as taking the obligatory Smoko with Cinders). Year 5s Unit of Inquiry has students considering how each individuals learning preferences may influence contemporary design to support the progressive academic and holistic education received through the Scots International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. Today, students started to map the perimeter, immersing themselves in a real-world scenario of STEM and Architecture before they headed back to the drawing board to produce their final blueprints for presentation to the School Executive and Board.

24.01.2022 Our Year 2 classes have just capped off an action-packed first day of their school camp out a the fabulous Great Aussie Holiday Park. Day 1 activities included archery, barrels of fun by the dam, plenty of great games and the ever popular water park, pool and jumping cushion. Our intrepid campers have just enjoyed a sunset walk, story time with their teachers and are ready to recharge their batteries ahead of another big day tomorrow.

23.01.2022 Keeping in line with current health guidelines, our Chapels and Assemblies have continued to be streamed into classrooms each week to maintain a connection throughout the School. While completing their final year of Senior School studies, our School Captains have played a vital role in leading with positive and thoughtful contributions. Many thanks to all those involved in the creation of these events.

23.01.2022 This afternoon our Year 12's were commended for their contributions to the School with formal awards, speeches and a Guard of Honour farewell formed by the whole school.

23.01.2022 Today marks 100 Days of Kindergarten and oh, how they have aged. It is wonderful to see the students portrayal of senior citizens and how wise they have become.

23.01.2022 The sun was shining for our 2020 Fathers Day Breakfast. We wish all our fathers, grandfathers and special friends a wonderful day on Sunday.

18.01.2022 The Scots School Albury: Awarded World Champion Pipe Band 2020! Despite the disappointment in not being able to attend the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Mr Nicolson encouraged students from across the Junior and Senior School to participate in the World Online Piping and Drumming Summer Championships and the school is excited to announce that The Scots School Albury has been awarded the title of the World Champion Pipe Band. Many of our students placed first in their categories ...and are also Individual World Champions. Now more than ever, our young people need to have hope and aspirations that they can create a world in which they can meaningfully contribute as trusted global citizens.
