20.01.2022 #justkeepswimming Hannah has Cerebral Palsy - this doesn't stop her. She is currently studying for an intense English degree at University. Hannah has returned to prove to herself she can do scuba therapy - one step at a time. And today she smashed a goal. You made us cry Hannah - what a champion. Thank you Team - what an incredible day we've had. Janette Marsh Pete Alicia Hancock Stephen Dixon Erika Berzins Mark Davies Sylvi Leanne Diviney David Lawrence Kimberly Wetzel Lawrence David Doyle

18.01.2022 Big shout out to Ailsa who you may recognize from our very first video when David came out from Florida to teach me in 2018. Ailsa enjoyed the feeling she got from exercising underwater so much she is a regular now and in this photo you see how much she has improved. Ailsa has MS and was unable to lunge in the beginning without falling over. Here she is lunging getting her knee to the ground and carrying dumbbells. Her Physio has confirmed Ailsa’s gait has increased too. We are so proud of you Ailsa - the effort you put in each scuba therapy session is huge. And our jumping at the end is so much fun. Thank you team - you all make this possible for Ailsa and all our wonderful divers. . . . @the_scuba_gym @kissgoodbyetomsaustralia #daringgreatly #jfdi #multiplesclerosis #hypotonia #ehlersdanlossyndrome #ataxiadefriedreich #scubatherapy

18.01.2022 We just love refresher scuba courses and The Haven sent some interesting critters to welcome us. So nice to dive with our new dive buddy and enjoy diving in clearer water. Let’s do that again with more of the Scuba Gym Team. Love Wednesdays - scuba therapy rocks. #scubatherapy

17.01.2022 Jess is back and what an epic day at work with Mondays crew of Scuba Gymers putting heart body & a lot of laughter into their scuba therapy. It’s soul food this work we do. Thank you top team for all you give to enable our divers to walk, jump or just be free if their chairs for an hour. . . . #scubatherapy #cerebralpalsy #kissgoidbyetoms #autistic #inclusion #ndisaustralia @stunningcentralcoast @spinalcordinjuriesaustralia @paraquadnsw @the_scuba_gym @kiss_ms_goodbye @cpalliance

17.01.2022 Hannah joined us today at the scuba gym and brought a beautiful smile to accompany all the courage she showed in the water. This was a big step way out of Hannah’s comfort zone and she put heart body and soul into it. We are so pleased you have finished university and can spend more time with us Hannah. Clearly you don’t let CP stop you from living a full and exciting life. What an inspiration. This is a wonderful goal you’ve committed yourself to. We are so proud of how you pushed yourself today. And we got to dance together too. Thank you Team you are awesome. . . . #cerebralpalsy #cerebralpalsyalliance #cpwarrior #jfdi #daringgreatly #scubatherapy

07.01.2022 We had the enormous joy and pleasure of meeting Eric today and introducing this incredible young man to the world of scuba therapy. You may recognize Eric from the TV show "Employable Me" or perhaps you saw him climbing up the Sydney Harbour Bridge (a huge challenge for someone with cerebral palsy). Well if not - see Eric here take on Scuba for the first time and totally rocked it. Well done buddy - such inspiration. Thank you Team - what a huge day we've had. 07.01.2022 I am participating in this year's Take 3 CEO Clean Up, an annual clean up and fundraising event where Central Coast business leaders come together to make a difference. This event provides local CEO’s, Directors and Business owners the chance to show leadership on sustainability and make a difference in our local community. I am fundraising on behalf of Take 3 for the Sea to support their Education Programs aimed at conserving the environment and protecting wildlife from the... impacts of plastic pollution and waste. Support my cause here today so that together we can create a healthier ocean ecosystem. Make sure you select my name in the drop down box so that the donation is counted correctly. https://www.ceocleanup.com/fundraise/ . . . #take3forthesea #ceocleanup #makeadifferenceday #jfdi #daringgreatly See more

06.01.2022 Welcome Chris - absolutely loving it here taking to scuba just like a fish. We had such fun with you and can’t wait for your next session. Scuba therapy is different for all our Divers depending on how they present their dis/ability. Chris presented such confidence in the water / we all had a blast. 05.01.2022 Last week Hannah walked unassisted for the first time ever about 10meters. So this week our champion walked a whole 50 meters underwater conquering fears and busting goals. We are super proud of you Hannah. What a huge effort- that’s why you look so tired at the end.
