25.01.2022 My scrap quilt (yet to be named) is back from being quilted. It was the perfect day for photos, so apologies in advance, but I’m going to drip feed pictures of it over the next week. I couldn’t love it more! Gorgeous quilting by Judy of @furball_farm_quilting - I’ll also share some more detailed pics of that too. Up to binding now - woohoo!!

24.01.2022 I love sewing binding! I’m excited at the prospect of a few evenings slip stitching it in place. It’s so satisfying, tucking the raw edges in & sewing them disappear inside a neat sleeve. *Happy sigh*.

23.01.2022 Two new packs featuring one of Kaffe Fassett’s most popular prints, ‘Paisley Jungle’ - & in a rare &/or out of print grey colourway! (Which is actually a fabulous array of citrus lime; mid purples; dusky lavender; deep pinks; mid pinks; sky blue; & midnight.)

23.01.2022 Thanks for all of the interest in my Hexagon Pinnie pattern! You can find the FREE pattern on my website!! Simply use the coupon PINNIE at the checkout for your free download. While you’re there, have a browse of my Curated Fabric Packs & consider joining my mailing list to be in the loop on special offers & lots of quiltmaking info.

21.01.2022 Day 3: Current project I’m a one EPP project at a time kind of girl. My current paper piecing efforts are being spent making Cherish quilt blocks. I opted for the big block option, thinking that it would be a quick make... !! #iloveeppparty2020

18.01.2022 It’s the official start date of our #everythinggoesquilt QAL - head to my blog for all week one details + what you need to do to be in the running for this week’s giveaway! Be sure to use the hashtag & follow the hashtag to see everyone’s makes.

18.01.2022 Rear end view of some current *Jennifer Paganelli* Curated Fabric Packs currently in stock!

13.01.2022 Day 2 | Favourite shape I can’t go past the humble hexagon. It’s so versatile & coincidentally, most of my EPP projects have been hexagon based. #iloveeppparty2020

13.01.2022 Day 4: Shape I’d like to try Clamshells. I’m kind of intimidated by them, but also keen to give them a go. This cushion cover in progress, by @cuckooblue has me itching to get started on some clamshells. I love the idea of a smaller project to begin with. #iloveeppparty2020

10.01.2022 A throwback to my Sugar & Spice quilt, gifted to my mother-in-law last Christmas. Not my usual palette, but a very pretty range of Kaffe Fassett Collective fabrics. The pattern is from Kaffe’s book Quilts en Provence. Quilted by Judy of @furball_farm_quilting it featured a lovely, gentle quilting design called Raindrops on the Pond.

09.01.2022 Day 5: Pattern This @kimmcleandesigns pattern, Salute to Levens Hall is my next EPP project. It has been waiting for me for at least 12 months. A few finishes to sort before I start playing with it. As I said in an earlier post, I’m a one EPP project at a time kind of girl! (usually there’s a few of other non-EPP projects happening alongside my EPP also). This will be my 3rd Kim Mclean EPP quilt. Her designs speak to me. I’m very excited to start it soon & play with some special Kaffe Collectives that I’ve squirreled away for it. #iloveeppparty2020

06.01.2022 So, it seems that IG has stopped hashtag follows at the moment, throwing our #everythinggoesquilt Quilt Along into a spin. I think that I’ve worked around the problem... Step one: If you are participating in or would like see Quilt Along posts, please follow @everythinggoes_qal & I will be reposting all relevant posts there. ... Step two: All QAL participants need to be sure to tag @thesecleverhands in ALL QAL posts - I will then repost them to the @everythinggoes_qal page, for all to see. You will need to do this to be eligible for giveaways (subject to meeting other criteria also, as previously mentioned). Hopefully that will work! Just remember that I’m currently away with my family for a week, so may not repost as quickly as I’d usually like - so please be patient

01.01.2022 Hi! I’m Jo & I’m joining the #iloveeppparty2020 hosted by Leela of @the_makers_stash Home is in the leafy green outers of lockdown central, otherwise known as Melbourne (Victoria, Australia). I first fell in love with EPP about 5 years ago, when I laid my eyes on the @kimmcleandesigns Glorious Hexagons quilt. I’m self-taught, with the help of some books & blogs. Little did I know that EPP was what was missing in my creative life. I slow stitch almost every night. EPP calms my overly active mind & has become a key part of my mindfulness practice. I can’t imagine my life without it!
