23.01.2022 The last client of 2020 has just left the building!! After hundreds of treatments and many new faces the doors to my cute clinic will close. I may just do nothing for all 3 of those days or I may decide to rejuvenate my poor old skin!! I always get sentimental during this time of the year as it reminds me I’m also a mum of 4 awesome beings!! Family time is so precious and believe me they grow up fast. 04.01.2022 Spotlight on...... Intense Pulsed Light Ipl is a multifaceted machine that can provide multiple treatment types utilising varied wavelengths (depths) and spot sizes. This workhorse removes pigment, eliminates unwanted hair, rejuvenates sun damaged skins and destroys p.acne bacteria. It can also degrade fungal spores and treat dry eye syndrome.... Ipl is a intense high powered, visible broad band of light that uses cutoff filters to target a chosen target or chromophore. This process is called selective photo thermolysis. The technician needs to be able to correctly select the wavelength, pulsed power setting and duration of intense light to achieve the desired result. These devices can cause serious damage to the client or alternatively just won’t work if they aren’t programmed correctly. This is NEVER the fault of the machine so choose your technician carefully!
