25.01.2022 Sebastian Cup 2020 It is good to have a healthy body, both mentally and physically, especialy in this time. Let us also remember to pray for those who are sick and those who have been infected with COVID 19.
23.01.2022 On June 11th 2020, Sam French and Aldrin Valdehueza bid farewell as they completed their seminary studies. They are both trained for the Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay. They are grateful for their time spent in seminary and are hopeful to take the virtues, talents, and graces they have received these past years into their next formation, that is, the parish life. They were specially recognised during the Holy Mass and honoured with the farewell lunch which was filled with friendship, fun, and memories of the past years. They have been a blessing for each and everyone of us in the community, and we will continue to hold them up in prayer. Our Lady Help of Christians, pray for us!
22.01.2022 Bishop Michael McKenna ordained Fr Dong Van Nguyen and Fr Karl Sinclair to Priesthood on Friday evening in a beautiful celebration of God's love for his people. More photos to come.
19.01.2022 Last week for our annual week of formation to begin the year, Catholic men’s ministry group Men Alive came to the seminary. Over four days we were led through conferences, stories and prayer centered around what true manhood is all about. It was truly a blessed time of growth for us all, and we sincerely thank Robert, Peter and all the NSW based volunteers for their generous time and efforts. MenALIVE On the Friday of that same week, Tony from the Kids Helpline came to speak to us. Over the course of the morning we learned much about the essential service offered by Kids Helpline, and much about the challenges young people face each day. If you are a young person and need help, don’t hesitate to give them a free call at any time on 1800551800 Kids Helpline Official

15.01.2022 Two days after his ordination to the Sacred Priesthood, Fr Dong Van Nguyen returned to the Seminary of the Good Shepherd to share his joy with the seminarians. During the celebrations, Deacon Roberto Keryakos, one of Fr Dong’s classmates, sang a Vietnamese song with Fr Dong, who accompanied on piano. The song’s name is Xin Vang which means Fiat, a Marian hymn performed as a thanksgiving gift for Our Lady whom Fr Dong has always loved.
12.01.2022 In his message for Lent, Pope Francis urges us to put the paschal mystery at the centre of our lives in our journey to Easter, feeling compassion towards the wo...unds of the crucified Christ present in the many innocent victims of wars and in attacks on life from that of the unborn to that of the elderly. 10.01.2022 Congratulations to Samuel French who was admitted on the Solemnity of the Most Blessed Trinity as a Candidate for Sacred Orders on Saturday night in Woy Woy. As Bishop Anthony Randazzo said that: "The path that lays before Sam is not solely one to ordination. It is a path that he will walk accompanied by the community of the Church. The people of Broken Bay will accompany Sam as he is configured more closely to Christ." So please, keep praying for Sam as he moves through thi...s very important stage on the road to ordination. Please also pray for the Diocese of Broken Bay, as with Sam’s admission to Candidacy, the Diocese publicly commits to accompanying him along the way for the remainder of his priestly formation.
