They are looking for adults with an intellectual disability or ASD to talk with them and share their insights. 21.01.2022 Here is one of our OT's playing an online game with his client through Skype! They are playing Skibbl, this is a great drawing game working on improving many skills such as fine motor, motor planning, visual perception, orientation, body and spatial awareness, and problem solving. Additionally, as you are versing your therapist, this game works on social skills too - in terms of communicating and giving clues, taking turns, and winning/losing.

04.01.2022 The Sensory Clinic is going ONLINE! This comes following the advice from Occupational Therapy Australia to cease direct client contact and avoid any physical contact with their families and/or carers. So what does this mean for our families? The Sensory Clinic will be offering ALL our clients the option of Skype or FaceTime appointments, to run in their usual time slot. It is important to note that therapists may be calling you from private/unknown numbers throughout this... time. We are currently working very hard and trying our very best to contact you all via phone, in order to update you on this change. We understand that this is a very difficult and uncertain period of time and we want to be here to support you in this transition. When the advice from OT Australia changes in regards to client contact, we will resume our usual in clinic sessions. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns!

01.01.2022 Challenge your therapist! We have come up with a fun game for you and your therapist to play during your online sessions. Get your child to choose ANY toy they have around the house that they think would be challenging for their therapist to incorporate into a therapy game! The therapists’ challenge is to use this toy and adapt it, in order to be useful in helping your child achieve their goals.
