20.01.2022 We retreated to Kathryn's bedroom and she shared about the physical experience of having this cancer growing in her neck. It grew so quickly. It changed the sound of Kathryn's voice and made swallowing and breathing difficult. She was close to needing a tracheotomy to enable her to breathe properly. Within one treatment the thickening had dramatically reduced, reinforcing the notion that chemotherapy was working well. Soon after, Mama sounded like herself again.
