24.01.2022 Ahhhh, another beautiful day at Woolmers Estate. Envious of the view from our window? We've accommodation cottages onsite - gorgeous heritage wee cottages. If I were so inclined, I'd say they were rather romantic. Call our office for details. Now, to breakfast and fire lighting ..

18.01.2022 All our bake schedules are confirmed for the Rose Festival at Woolmers Estate on November 17th. Including a chocolate whiskey cake [ gluten free of course ] for 200 people. Sheesh.....

10.01.2022 We have been busy servants indeed - not exactly getting a flogging per se, but we'll post some eye candy to keep you up to date very soon. Apparently there shall be some punishment if I don't anyhow ........ have you heard that our menu is almost 100% available as a gluten free alternative too? Didn't think you would have, but we thought we'd share it with our facebook friends first.

10.01.2022 Specimen A. A = awesome artichoke... there are ten fresh, awaiting picking right now. We're thinking slowly braised in home made chicken stock and roasted with crispy parmesan and cottage garden herb and damper crumbs. Wondering if the servants 100 years ago would be drooling? What DID they do with their artichokes? My guess is that they fed them to the cattle. Oh no....

01.01.2022 We have decided!! One of the dessert options at The Servants Kitchen for the Rose Festival [ 17th November - got that in your diary yet??? ] will be gluten free, custard filled profiteroles. Our gluten free star once made New Zealand's only GF profiteroles and eclairs, but we have claimed her as our own and have her 'slaving' away over a hot stove. hehehhe, she loves it, honest!
