24.01.2022 Join us online in your living room or headphones this Friday early-evening (US) or Saturday mid-morning (AUS) for a live stream with James DiLiberto and Phil Rosser sharing an interactive performance of TSD music from our newly built studio in Melbourne, Australia. In a time of Covid-19 isolation, we want The Seventh Day team to stay connected with all of you who continue to support our community's music and the wonderful #ACallToCreate initiative by the Williamsburg Christadelphian Foundation team.
19.01.2022 From Age to Age: hymns reimagined *** Be merciful to me, O God, Thy mercy unto me ... Do Thou extend; because my soul Doth put its trust in Thee: Yea, in the shadow of Thy wings My refuge I will place, Until these sad calamities Do wholly overpass. My cry I will cause to ascend Unto the Lord most high; To God, who doth all things for me Perform most perfectly. O Lord, exalted be Thy name Above the heav’ns to stand: Do Thou Thy glory far advance Above both sea and land. *** Words: adapted from Psalm 57 by Benjamin Hall Kennedy (b. 1804) Music, recording, instruments: Timon Burney Voice: Aletheia Burney, Timon Burney Original tune (as reproduced in the final verse): Carl Göttlief Glasen (17841890)

14.01.2022 From Age to Age: hymns reimagined *** Heavenly Father, to whose eye Future things unfolded lie, ... Through the desert where I stray Let Thy counsels guide my way. Lord, uphold me day by day, Shed a light upon my way; Guide me through perplexing snares; Care for me in all my cares. All I ask for is, enough; Only, when the way is rough, Let Thy rod and staff impart Strength and courage to my heart. Should Thy wisdom, Lord, decree Trials long and sharp for me, Pain or sorrow, care or shame - Father, glorify Thy name! *** Words: Georg Neumark (162181) Translation: Catherine Winkworth (182778) Music, voice: Aletheia Burney Recording, guitar, tin whistle, additional instrumentation: Timon Burney
