22.01.2022 For those of you who we have not been formally introduced to yet..... Hi, nice to meet you. We are These Walls - a wallpaper and textile design studio based in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. Our focus is to create beautiful products for our homes and spaces that are designed, printed and made locally in Australia. We cater for both residential and commercial interior environments.... Our name These Walls is derived from the saying If these walls could talk. The spaces around us resonate with our unique stories, memories and our interiors are deeply intertwined in these conversations of living. If your walls could talk, what would they say These Walls is the creation of Sara Hingle, who has worked as an editorial illustrator and designer on numerous publications in the past. Her work has featured in Frankie Magazine and Smith Journal among others. Not long after graduating from uni Sara worked as a designer and illustrator at the Perth Mint before moving to the East Coast of Australia where she worked for many years in various lifestyle publications. Increasingly throughout this time, Sara found herself being commissioned on briefs designing and artworking patterns and a love for the 'world of pattern' arose as a result. These days Sara is at her happiest creating in her studio not far from her family (2 x little guys, feline + canine help, business-partner-slash-husband). In 2017 the These Walls team has grown to include Rach and Rosie - an exciting progression of growth that also allows Sara to converse with more than cats and dogs during work hours. Phew. 15.01.2022 As this holiday dream is drawing to a close I can reflect and be grateful for so much goodness around me - past, present and future. Last year was a difficult one (losing a loved one as many of you know, is not easy) but regardless, I look forward for what this new year brings. 2018 let's do this! I'll be back in the studio soon, batteries charged and bashing out those replies x in the meantime, just kicking back and soaking up this view
