07.01.2022 Water Repellent Fabric The outer fabric is protected by an invisible shield around each fibre to keep the fabric dry and clean, it is a natural anti-adherent. This is why I used water repellent fabric as COVID-19 is carried in water droplets from coughs and sneezes. I've designed my masks to now have the outer layer in water repellent fabric and the lining made out of 100% cotton.
