20.01.2022 DEAFBLIND AWARENESS WEEK! UNBREAKABLE PLATE SETS! I’m so excited right now! I always knock plate, bowl, cup and glass off the table/kitchen bench etc then they smash everywhere. I clean it up, half the time cutting my feet as I can’t see the small bits and stand on them then I make the trip back to Kmart to replace them, after few times I break them and have to repeat the process again.. so annoying! We went Woolworths to do some groceries and found this! UNBREAKABLE plat...e sets! Perfect for this deafblind chick! And they were reduced! Yah! Now glasses! Where can I get plastic glasses that look like glass?! See more

17.01.2022 Hello everyone! I just wanted to jump on and provide you all with an update on my journey so far. A LOT have happened since and I wanted to wait till I’ve had few tests late year after COVID-19! I’m all finished at Adelaide. I had my eyes tested In April 2020. My right eye remained the same since May 2019 - yay! My left one got worse a little which was a disappointment. They found a cyst behind my left eye that they need to keep monitoring. It can be removed but as it’s on my... retina the surgery is quite risky. The cyst hasn’t grown which is good because otherwise it would put pressure on my retina and make me go more blind. The cyst wasn’t caused by the trial. I just got abit unlucky and it ended up on my retina! I went back the following September. My right eye still hadn’t changed! My left eye hadn’t changed either since April 2020 which is so good! The cyst hasn’t grown either which is also good! All they can do at the minute is keep on with the monitoring on my eyes and the cyst too. I will be going back maybe March this year so I will keep everyone posted! 01.01.2022 Hey Everyone!!! We know you all are super excited to hear what our official total is.. Trust me so are we!!! But we still are waiting on some donations from interstate and overseas to come through but we should know in the next day or two ... Also we were wondering if anyone who was at the shave on Saturday might be able to help us? It was super crazy at the end of the shave when we were packing everything up (I think we were all pretty thirsty) and we can’t find our donation tins that were sitting on the raffle table. Can anyone remember seeing what car we put these in? If you can remember can you please let one of us know? Thanks guys, stay tuned for the update in the next few days
