23.01.2022 I had a lot of time on my hands after I stopped playing rugby, so rather than training two nights a week and a full day on Saturday I decided to put my time in...to building a Man Cave. It’s an escape for me, it’s an escape from the family as the house isn’t that big. I’m around all my mates and we have a few beers, watch some sport. We bag each other out, have a good laugh and I feel better afterwards even if it is only for that night. The Black Dog, he visits me probably two, three times a year for three to four days at a time. I’m quite used to it now. I tell people I get depressed and they say oh just get over it. Well there’s nothing anyone can say, it’s something you’ve just got to get through. It’s like a sort of a cloud that comes over you, and you feel down, like nothing seems really good. When you have the Black Dog you think no-one likes you. I’m quite ashamed of it really because I’ve got a great life here, I’ve got a great family, I’ve got a great house and I’ve got great mates but there’s just times you’ve got no control over it. I don’t know what triggers it. If I knew, I wouldn’t get it again. But, I’ve learnt to work through it. It can be, you know, a hard time but my mates will come around here and we’ll have a few beers, watch some sport and I forget about it for a while. And people leave here wanting to have their own man room. So if you’ve got one, share it with your mates and talk to your mates and you’ll feel better about yourself and they’ll feel better about themselves. You know, it’s part of life. It’s just how it goes.

21.01.2022 We’re revisiting the sheds from Series 1 - starting on C31 from Wednesday November 28 at 6pm, with an aim to relaunch in early 2019. We are currently in discussion with several national brands who are wanting to support the show and get us back in the shed!

08.01.2022 A fantastic night celebrating Community TV at The Antenna Awards through C31 Melbourne and Geelong. Whiskas rocked a burgundy suit with Fedora... And played his part with an 'off the cuff' presentation of award winners. Although Whiskas didn't take home the 'personality of the year', we had a great night down at Federation Square.... Job well done by the staff/crew/volunteers. The evening was very well managed and presented. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners. Keep driving Community TV. #antennaswards
