21.01.2022 Just a quick update... we have bookings at our regular spots through to end of year but not posting until they are all confirmed again as are still subject to change as the COVID restrictions are lifted and venues implement new regs depending on their priorites. 17.01.2022 HI BEAUTIFUL PEOPLES! Things are moving pretty fast and venues struggling with new operation Coronavirus restrictions. All gigs will be postponed until the all clear is given. We caught an early flight back as HOMEGROWN was also postponed and we are now in self isolation. To our Homegrown Crew family thanks for the shits n giggles for a few days at least. 07.01.2022 Brooklyn Standard CANCELLED Due to the continuing strain on the venue with COVID restrictions and increased police presence enforcing these measures to ensure that patrons are adhering to these rules and regulations the venue has made the decision to cancel large bands until restrictions ease and numbers can be increased in venues to support them. The Brooklyn is still planning on supporting local musicians on a smaller scale where ever possible which is fantastic, but would ...like to remind all patrons the $7K fine is a constant threat for these venues trying to provide the service we know and enjoy to maintain the sanitisation and social distancing rules and regulations. So... till the smoke clears and things ease The Shine wants to thank everyone for their support and just say... Go out! Support our struggling venues, support our fabulous musicians, chair dance all night long, call out, clap and share the cheer. Till next time... Aroha nui x

05.01.2022 Hey guys!... Been a while and we are just as keen to get back in the saddle again as Im sure everyone is to get out of the house and blow a few cobwebs out. We are back practising and learning new material so you can chair dance all night long if need be LOL... Have gigs booked through to Dec but no word from Clubs or Casino as to when they will be offering big band live entertainment yet.... BUT.... we are ready! So till then... turn the music up, sing out loud and dance around in ya birthday suit to give ya neighbours something to smile about ;)
