In a recent Q&A I conducted on Instagram I had loads of you telling me to try Kuroneko Ramen Noodle Bar at Sutherland and I’m SO GLAD I DID! YUM! / Kuroneko, located in Sutherland is a Japanese Ramen Noodle Bar that you have to try. The staff are so friendly and you feel so welcome the moment you step inside. The menu offers starters like Edamame, Gyoza, Pork Buns and Dumplings. For mains you have Ramen, Udon, Donburi (rice bowl dish), Sushi and ample Vegetarian and Gluten Free options. / The Gyoza was perfect, with that crispy pan fried coating and the dumplings in the spicy chilli oil are so damn moreish. The Spicy Ramen was everything you’d expect and if you don’t like spice than the Kara-age Chicken Udon is perfect. The broth is light in flavour but combined with the Kara-age, the flavours and textures balance perfectly. / Kuroneko is perfect for families as its great value for money, BYO and kid friendly. I’ve been visiting Bianchini’s at Gymea for years now and the food and coffee never disappoints. Located just off Gymea Bay Road, the cafe pockets the morning Sun which is just heavenly. / The bacon and egg roll is AMAZING and definitely sits within my top 5 in The Shire, along with the Corn Fritters. I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again, if you haven’t tried Rushi’s Parmesan Shallot Scrambled Eggs, you have not LIVED! The only way I’ll let it slide is if you don’t like eggs, in which case there are so many other options. Papa J’s, Cronulla’s newest venue, is a 1950’s glitz and glam lounge bar, opening on Tuesday 6th April. / This week, we had the luxury of attending a VIP night and whilst expectations were already quite high given the team owns both Jensens and Summer Salt, the experience just blew us away!!! From the moment we stepped inside, to the hours spent in the venue, the service was incredible, the music was a HUGE vibe and the food and drinks were outstanding. / My absolute favourite way to eat is exactly how Papa J’s have prepared their menu, share plates which go hand in hand with a glass of wine or cocktail. The stand out food items were the Smokey bbq glaze Black Angus skewers and Crispy pork belly san choy bow. The steak literally melted in your mouth and the pork belly was glazed over with a sticky caramel sauce that you legitimately could drink. / We loved all the cocktails as they were each so unique. The Alchemist blew me away with Ink Gin combined with yuzu, watermelon and guava and the El Conquistador with charred pineapple Tromba Tequila was one I’d never think to order but was pleasantly surprised by the flavours. / Papa J’s, PERFECT for date night, girls night in style or a swing by drink when you’re feeling a little lush. / Open 7 days a week. In fact, it would be my favourite ‘dine in’ Thai as it’s just so gorgeous. Boasting with pink neon lights, quirky wallpaper, great tunes and beautifully presented food.... / The food is always quality and I can’t ever go past the Red Duck Curry. Located just outside Miranda Westfield, Georgie Porgies is one of my favourite cafes to stop at if I’m doing a spot of shopping. A great cafe for a quick coffee, a scrumptious brunch or lunch with friends. / There are plenty of options to choose on the menu along with various sweets at the counter. Betty’s Burgers recently opened up in Miranda Westfield, right where Mejico used to be and boy has it launched with a BANG. I’ve popped over a few times since the opening and there’s been a line every time. The line does move fast though so don’t let that scare you away! / Both the Crispy Chicken and the Deluxe with Angus Beef were winners. The chicken was exactly how it said, nice and crispy with not too much batter and the Angus Beef was thick and juicy, just how I like it. / To finish, we tried a Cookie Butter ‘Concrete’ which exceeded all expectations. Think a cross between ginger bread and a moist cookie with a delicious caramel/cinnamon gooey sauce DROOL. / The staff were super on the ball, friendly and quick to serve our food. The meals are huge and considering how much you get it’s definitely good value for money. Bocca Bocca is inspired by Napoli and the Mediterranean at large with authentic Neapolitan style pizzas, traditional pastas, fresh salads, cocktails, delish starters and sides ... / We dined here a few weeks ago under a 90 minute seating and whilst the experience did feel a little rushed, we were completely understandable of the time limit in place. To be honest, it was probably better for our waist lines that we didn’t have time to order a dessert, however we definitely will be next time / The top picks of the night were the Meat Lovers Pizza and Nonna’s Ragu, super tasty and in fact, reminded me of eating in Italy / I’d recommend Bocca Bocca if you have a large group and/or with kiddies, the restaurant is huge and bustling so making noise isn’t a biggie.
