10.01.2022 We spend a lot of time focussed on birth and baby gadgets in the last few months of pregnancy. We build up the best nest to welcome bub into the world but often, we forget to think about building up our own wellness post-partum. It's so imperative to talk about how to feel human after pregnancy. The inevitable exhaustion and emotion are a normal and important part of the journey, however travelling the post-partum path in isolation is not. Your village (your friends, family..., doula and health professionals) should listen, and help to guide you through this transformative time with as much grace as can be mustered in the face of baby poo, incontenence, milk spit ups, vitamin deficiencies, scary thoughts and the dreaded witching hour. Remember - there's always someone to listen and to catch you when you feel like you just need extra support.
