22.01.2022 Each of our five bedrooms has its own vibe. This one feels a little more ‘grown up’ with the upholstered bedhead and elegant wall lights. All of them have a few things in common though - a full length mirror, blockout blinds, luggage rack, hanging space and an en-suite. Because when you holiday with a large group, you might just need your own space sometimes. How does that sound? What are your must-haves in a bedroom space?... pic: @samrilesphotography

21.01.2022 Location, location, location. Where exactly are you located is a question we often get. Glad you asked! We are behind the surf club looking over the reserve area. Right next to a skate park, kids playground, basketball courts and of course the beach (patrolled end ). You can be on the sand within two minutes of stepping out our back gate.... Our location is pretty perfect

21.01.2022 Transformation Tuesday Beautiful cathedral ceilings with natural light pouring in makes this main living room the hero space of the house. We wanted to create a cosy conversation area rather than placing a TV in this area, so the original fireplace in the corner (that was blocking the ocean view!) needed to go. Then we built a new brick wall and hearth and installed a streamlined gas fireplace. Ta daa! Looks like the wall with its beautiful texture was always there!... More texture was added in the form of shiplap paneling on the cathedral ceiling and carried through to the outside ceiling on the deck. This makes it feel like one large living space and really joins the inside to the outside. Throw in some beautiful floorboards, a new stair balustrade and squishy furniture made from natural fabrics and you’ve got all the ingredients for a space where people chill out and play games, talk, laugh and have fun in both summer and winter! pic: @the.palm.co

05.01.2022 It feels like we’ve been waiting for you a loooong time 2021. About time you showed up! Wishing everyone a happy new year from the bottom of our hearts. The first day of each year is always so full of hope isn’t it? Subdued hope this year I think... Our thoughts are with all the tourism operators, holiday properties, townships, families, small businesses (the list goes on...), that are affected by the latest border closures and lockdowns. A repeat of NYE 2020 in a nightmarishly different way. Hoping this is just a blip and we’re back on track again soon
