22.01.2022 A team member has started experiencing flu like symptoms since visiting Indooroopilly (A location where some covid cases have been reported) We have decided that it is in the best interest and safety of our staff and all our customers to close tomorrow and potentially Wednesday. The shop will undergo a full sanitation. We are hopeful that this is just a precaution, that our staff member is okay and we can be back to regular operations before the weekend. 20.01.2022 Dear lovely Customers, We have an exciting announcement! From November 1st, we will be moving next door into a bigger space. We are expanding our kitchen to be able to make new and exciting food options. To get out new kitchen ready, we are closing the current one on Wednesday 16th of September. It is unfortunate that we wont be able to provide food options during this time, however, we are so excited about the possibilities that the new kitchen will provide. ... 19.01.2022 Hey guys, Just an update on the situation here at The Single Guys. We are open and operating at full capacity as best we can with a few changes to minimise any risk for infection. These include: - no more re-usable cups (just until it is deemed safe to resume doing so) - No more cash, card payments only... - We have ramped up our cleaning schedule and procedures - We ask that you respect the personal spaces of both customers and staff, keeping a safe distance between each other through this time. - Please, if you feel even slightly unwell, to follow the guidelines of the World Health Organisation and just stay home, seek medical advice and proceed from there. Here at the Single Guys, we are sure this will pass in no time and that together we will all be okay. 15.01.2022 Happy Friday :) Tomorrow the restrictions are allowing dine in. However, we will be remaining as takeaway only until possibly phase 2, as to fulfil the rules of dine in are too difficult to accommodate at this time. We are trying to stay as safe as possible and follow all the rules and regulation set out by the government. We are definitely excited to see things return to normal and hopefully soon be able to sit down and enjoy some great food and even better coffee. As so, we will be fully opening up during the week as well. We are super excited to see everyone come in and to see things back to normalish. 06.01.2022 Exciting news! Thanks to some of the restrictions being lifted, we are now able to open for dine-in coffee and food on the weekends.
