22.01.2022 Dear Patient/Carer HALLS HEAD RESPIRATORY CLINIC Modern Medical Clinics has been working with the Commonwealth Department of Health to establish a respiratory clinic nearby to serve the Peel Region/Mandurah area.... The purpose of the respiratory clinic is to ensure Western Australia is ahead of the COVID-19 virus by providing the region with a facility that has the single purpose of monitoring, measuring and responding to any possible outbreaks. The new Halls Head Respiratory Clinic is located at 1 Elderberry Circle, Halls Head and is operating from a building adjacent to but totally separate to our GP, Allied Health, Specialist and Skin Check Clinics. The respiratory clinic is specifically for assessing, testing and managing patients with any respiratory symptoms. It will be fully operational from Monday 4 May 2020. The respiratory clinic will be designed to contain people to the one facility who have respiratory symptoms relevant to the virus and who require assessment. This will minimise any potential for cross infection at general practice and other health service providers who are able to refer patients with COVID-19 like symptoms to the clinic. Please note that the respiratory clinic will be operating separately to Modern Medical Clinics and your health and safety will not be at risk. Appointments for the respiratory clinic will be via online(HotDoc) or phone bookings only (9582 7638). No walk-ins will be seen without an appointment. Patients to the respiratory clinic are required to wait in their car in the designated car park until staff from the clinic manage their entry. There is a separate entry and exit to the clinic for patients and a very clear and defined path that patients must take. Next time you visit Modern Medical Clinics, you will notice a dedicated car park and signage all designed to ensure patients to the respiratory clinic are isolated from other patients / visitors to the practice. Please keep these car parking spaces free for respiratory clinic patients only. For your personal safety, we ask that when you attend Modern Medical Clinics' GP, Skin, Specialist or Allied Health, you continue to observe all signage and that you cooperate with our reception team who will continue to assess if you have any COVID-19 like symptoms by asking you questions and taking your temperature.
