25.01.2022 Snake Sunday! Interesting facts! It typically takes 3-5 days for a snake to digest their meal. The warmer the snake is, the quicker the digestion. Extra large snakes like the anaconda can take weeks to digest their meals! Remember to be snake safe and keep your distance. Give me a call if you need removals!

23.01.2022 Good news! The scrub python (named Herman) has been given the all clear to be released! I’m excited for him to see his new home away from peoples backyards!

23.01.2022 Hi guys, I wanted to talk about something I read today where a person claims that a snake was aggressive and was striking unprovoked. This is untrue. A snake will never strike unprovoked. A snake will strike if it feels threatened and it obviously felt threatened by the person. If a snake is striking at you, you are too close and are making it feel threatened. Take a few large steps back and watch these beautiful creatures at a safe distance. Happy New Years to all my fantastic followers! Wishing you and your family a safe new year and a hell of a lot better one than this year!

21.01.2022 Apologies to anyone who tried to call using the call now button. I’ve just fixed the issue and It’s all good to go now!

20.01.2022 Ever wondered what an X-ray of a snake looks like? This was taken from my boy Noodles.

16.01.2022 Hey guys, just letting you know that I may be uncontactable for the next few days. Telstra is doing works in the area and reception is terrible at the moment. So apologies in advance! Give me a call but if it doesn’t go though I’m sorry! Stay safe all!

08.01.2022 A Saturday evening at The Snake lady’s house.

08.01.2022 Myth busting time!!! I’ve heard this one many times. A lady had a large pet python. After a while, whilst lying down she would notice the snake slithering next to her length ways to measure her up for eating. This is FALSE. Extremely intelligent snakes are, they don’t have deductive reasoning capabilities like us humans have. So therefor can’t think If I’m longer than the item, I can eat it. Humans have deductive reasoning capabilities so use them and don’t approach a snake, keep a safe distance and give me a call if you need it removed! Happy Sunday all!

07.01.2022 No this is not An April fool’s joke! Free Removals for the month of April!!!! What to do when you find a snake. If you find a snake in your home firstly, take a few steps back, stay calm and keep away but keep an eye on it. If it is in a room where you can close the door and stop it from getting out, close the the door and give me a call. Keep a safe distance away and keep an eye on it so i can find it easily. If you have pets, ensure they are secured somewhere safe away from the snake. A general description of the snake and location will also come in handy.

05.01.2022 Another scrubby was picked up this arvo! This guy had taken residence in someone’s garden, coming out during the day to sunbathe. He was taken to vet and asked to keep in observation for the night whilst we see if he will need a shot of antibiotics as he has some so all injuries to his belly. So he will spend the night with me (gives him time to digest his bulging dinner in his belly) and will hopefully be given the all clear to be released tomorrow!

04.01.2022 Was very lucky to have found a recent snake shed in my yard this afternoon.

04.01.2022 Got a call out this evening to relocate a spotted python who was chilling by the pool in Brinsmead. Although he was quite happy there, it is possible he could have come to harm from the furry resident children so he was safely relocated.

04.01.2022 Snake Sunday with the keelback snake The keelback snake. These guys are non venomous and grow to around 1m. They are semi aquatic and most commonly found around freshwater. Their diet consists of mainly frogs but will also eat small mammals and fish and can even eat cane toads! They range in colours of grey, brown and olive with mismatched brown flecks.... These guys are often confused with the venomous rough scaled snake. Remember to never touch a snake and give me a call See more

04.01.2022 Received a call out this morning for a snake that had made home inside a pool filter box. It was a scrub python who would have enjoyed the warmth and shelter of a nice pool box. Scrub pythons are the largest snakes in Australia reaching up to around 5 metres in length, although there have been reports of some reaching 8 metres long. Being a large python, these guys can get heavy! Females growing larger and weighing up to 15kg although there have been some monsters recorded to be 30kg! The males are slightly smaller and can weigh up to around 11kg. These guys are non venomous but always remember to give me a call should you find a snake! This is old mate in his new home away from peoples pools!

03.01.2022 A wild spotted python I spotted today on the yellow arrow. These guys are non venomous, growing to approx 1.2m.
