Different colours can evoke certain emotions e.g. blue can be calming and red can represent hunger or anger. So when selecting and editing content, ensure the colours create the wanted 'feel' of your brand's feed. ... The documentary covers some interesting points throughout their journey from starting out with nothing to being one of the biggest festival in the world. ... Whether you want to be the biggest in the world or the biggest within your local community, there are some great lessons to be learnt from their story. Some of my favourite takeaways were: If you have an amazing idea that you can't stop thinking about, roll with it! Don't let anyone tell you it isn't going to work or it isn't good enough. Back yourself - confidence in your idea is the biggest thing to make it a reality. When hard times hit, don't give up. Remember the reasons why you started and your end goal. Do whatever it takes to make it happen! Surround yourself with like-minded people. Coachella almost went broke three times, but each time they had help from people who believed in them and their goal. THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. 15.01.2022 "I want to get more brand exposure" this is the most common reason why business owners contact us for help with their social media platforms. although every social media strategy is unique to the business is represents, there are some parallels that can be drawn around engagement and reach methods.... so if you are looking to self-manage your socials, we've compiled a few hot tips for you: first things first, you can't get started without a plan. think about who your target audience is and how you will appeal to them - then create a strategy based on this. remember: this should be a document that is reflected upon every single time you create content and post on your socials. fix your display pic (DP). make sure your DP is clear and captivating at first glance. instagram automatically makes the circle prettttty small next to your username e.g. when you comment on someone elses posts. because of this it usually isn't best to use your full logo as your DP, as no one can read it properly without squinting (#nannaalert) make your feed aesthetic af. this one should speak for itself. when I am looking at a feed for the first time, I want to feeeeeel good. turns out, pretty much everyone else has the aspirations as me, so make sure you plan it out and always use high quality images - just like the one I have used today be consistent. it can seem like everything is moving in slow motion when you first start, but I promise, if you are consistently posting valuable content (note: not big sales pitchs 24/7) and engaging with others - the growth will come. it will start as a trickle but it will become bigger and better the more you continue. we hope these tips have helped + as always, we are happy to talk through any queries you have, obligation free. we want as many businesses as possible to feel confident online, as we know this will create a better community for us all much love x See more

CONTENT FRAMEWORKS... First things first, you should create a content calendar for your account. I usually create a 30 day one to begin with. Once you've got your calendar sorted, you need to pick some content themes that you want to post. 4-6 streams seems to be the magic number that works for us as it is just the right amount of difference whilst still remaining relevant to the account. An example of some of my themes are: Instagram tips Personal posts Inspirational quotes Engagement tips You want to make sure that your themes go back to your why. What's your message? People not liking me... on purpose? #horror Think about it: constantly chasing 10k followers is doing a massive disservice to your existing audience. If you come to me looking for a quick way to get hundreds of new followers, I'm not the right person for you. If on the other hand someone comes to me asking how they can grow their audience and provide massive value - then we are on. My mission is to help my clients/audience inspire others and share their gift with the people who need it most I've learnt that the most influential pages on social media often have a handful of people who hate what they do and they won't be scared to voice it. But you can be sure they also have a devoted tribe of 'their people' who aboslutely adore them. These people are also known as 'active promoters' and will be the first to sign up to their mailing lists as well as telling everyone they know about how much they love it.
