A little back story as to why this quote from @james_clear resonates with me so much is that when I started The Social Side, I hit the ground running because of word of mouth . I was referred to a special client 12 months ago that I still work with today, then was asked by a friends business to take them onboard as well, and from there more and more clients, all from word of mouth. I didn’t advert...ise for myself once! So I had instant incomeright from the get go, I instantly had work to do and for that reason my own business social platforms took the backseat. Crazy right?! Especially as my line of expertise is social media! Eventually I started to get on top of collecting and creating media for my own platforms but I didn’t want to start anything until I had everything perfect.
