21.01.2022 Hello to everyone. So here we are again as we enter into a second round of stage 3 restrictions. We want to let you all know below is our location, Days and times of operation. Armstrong st south out the front of Cameron’s Plumbing Sunday 5.00pm-6.30pm Monday to Thursday 7.00pm-8.30pm... We are taking all precautionary measures in line with regulations to protect our community during COVID19. If you do attend could all practice social distance of 1.5m. We would like to highlight that we do provide meals for the homeless and those less fortunate. However during the tough time our society is facing at the moment, we are here for assistance for those that are experiencing hardship or have lost a job recently etc. - Soup Bus Family

Drop off is any Wednesday between 9am and 11.00am cnr Fussell and Eureka streets Ballarat behind the men’s shed or every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month same time and place. The next Saturday being 7th March. If you’re able to donate, you can drop off items at the depot behind the Ballarat East Community Mens Shed this Saturday between 9.30am - 11am. 18.01.2022 We have had a pretty good week and been fortunate enough to receive 20 pizza’s thanks Dominos pizza Sebastopol on Thursday this week and another 15 to 20 this coming Sunday. 16.01.2022 We would like to acknowledge and give a massive thank you to The Rotary Club of Ballarat West Fundraising who have donated again and this time over a whopping $8000 for the remaining appliances required to finish the renovation of our original bus. This included a double oven cook top range hood and upright fridge. Without organisations like this we would not be able to continue. This will allow the soup bus to have 2 permanent buses serving our community.

13.01.2022 There are so many ways you can support the Soup Bus this month! You can donate items to the soup bus with collection happening this Wednesday between 9am and 11am. Corner of Fussell and Eureka street Ballarat, behind the men’s shed. Hop Temple Ballarat have their Live Musical Bingo this Thursday and are raising money for us! ... You can also book a table at our Trivia Night on the 15th of May. We thank everyone for their continuous support!

09.01.2022 We want to say a HUGE thank you to @left_hand_lucky for their large donation of food and handling gloves. We also want to thank The Rotary Club of Ballarat West for the donation of $1799 for a new upright freezer for our reconstructed bus. With this help we are able to help providing for those in need within our society. THANK YOU from everyone at the Soup Bus!

08.01.2022 Community pantries have been set up at Mt Helen Campus, Camp St Campus and MidValley Shopping Centre in Morwell to assist students who are struggling to purchas...e food during the pandemic. The pantries are open to all Federation University students and you will be able to select from a range of fresh foods, staples and grocery items. Students are required to show their student ID and to bring their own bags. 07.01.2022 URGENT NEED OF FOOD HANDLING GLOVES Hello to Everyone, since the coronavirus has been present we are finding it difficult to locate food handling gloves in small, medium and large sizes and are now desperate to locate some so we can continue to operate within our hygiene standards and regulations. 02.01.2022 THANK-YOU These two generous men delivered a ute full of items that we urgently needed to help continue our service. We are always amazed at the generosity of our community. They also made us a certificate of appreciation to say thank you to all at the Soup Bus.... Their thoughtfulness and generosity was very much appreciated and will make such a difference. The purchases were bought with his tax return. A thousand thank you's to you. To all of you who give to us you so we can continue providing meals 5 nights a week 52 weeks of each year you are the BEST!! Cheers from The Soup Bus Committee.
