07.01.2022 Just landed, our newest book! Nourished Vegan A Teenager’s Guide Written by a mother, Lynn Johnstone, whose teenage daughter decided that she wanted to follow a vegan diet. Lynn began to research it further so that she could be sure that her daughter was getting all the nutrients that she needed and so that she could easily provide meals for her daughter at the same time as the rest of the non-vegan family.... This is ideal book for a parent who has just had a child or someone in their family say that they want to follow a vegan diet. It’s written in a way that teenagers will enjoy too, and includes lots of notes on how to maintain a good nutritional balance on a vegan diet, as well as simple tricks to follow. We also recommend it to customers who are just starting a vegan diet Follow Lynn @nourishedveganrules

02.01.2022 LEMON MYRTLE Lemon Myrtle is a Bushfood that has been used by Indigenous Australians, as both a cooking ingredient and medicinal plant, for thousands of years Our dried Lemon Myrtle can be used as a substitute for lemon, lime or lemongrass in hot or cold drinks or sweet or savoury recipes.... Want to experiment with Lemon Myrtle? These Lemon Myrtle + Ginger Cookies @byrosie_ look amazing Prep: 5 mins Bake: 15 mins 1.5 cups almond meal 4 tbsp coconut oil 3 tbsp raw local honey 1.5 tsp ginger powder 14 cup crystallised ginger, finely chopped 2 tsp lemon myrtle 1 large lemon zested pinch of salt Preheat oven to 170c (fan-forced) In a mixing bowl add all ingredients and mix until all combined cookie dough style mixture. Use a tbsp spoon to scoop mixture up and roll into a ball then place onto lined baking tray. Repeat until finished. Gently press top of each cookie with fork. Place in oven for 14-16m (dependent on how well your oven works) until golden brown. Leave to completely cool on a wire rack, as will be very soft when straight out of oven.
