The beige and cream tones are reliable, discreet, elegant and flexible. The beige colour is neutral, calm and relaxing. It has the advantage of being able to change its attributes depending on the colour with which we combine it. A prevalent and popular colour, the shade of cream is soft and neutral, yet it is a warmer shade than pure white. Many of you already know, I'm an interior designer; Who posts a ton about design, sometimes here and there about my family and my passion for upcycled furniture. Every now & then I like to toss up a post that tells you some things about me that you probably didn't know, and since Spring is here, our habits change with the seasons. I have a love-hate relationship with Spring weat...her. But I suffer from hay fever, so I have that dilemma to go out or stay at home. This Spring I'm really into DIY and redecorating my daughters bedroom, this will keep my mind busy. My favourite thing to do during this season is a walk at the You Yangs in the morning. I love watching the sun rising and to take photos of my surroundings. Reading a good book in the evening is something that I'm starting to enjoy more and more (books that are related to architecture or Interior design) Well, that is me! 20.01.2022 MONDAY POLL: Are you are morning bird or a night owl?? I wasn’t a morning person all the time, but I’ve learned to be the most productive in the morning. So I wake up to get my kids ready for school, drop them off at the bus stop, tidy up my house, get dressed for my day at my home office and to really get my day off to the right kind of start, I like to begin with a big cup of coffee while i start to tick off my to-do list. ... I know it may sound crazy but by 3 pm I am tuckered out and in need of another cup of coffee to help me get through the day. How about you friend? Do you get your best work done in the morning or evening?

17.01.2022 On my family tree, I am the oldest sibling, so by default, I’m used to be the responsible one of keeping our home clean and tidy, in that process I used to take attention of how our home was built, like what was working for as a family and what did not work for us. So when it was time for the dinner; I brought that up with my grandma, and share my point of view of the functionality of our home. She used to listen to all my suggestion and let me carry on with my imaginat...ion. Grandma used to say I’d be an Architect! Although I didn’t precisely follow down that path, I got pretty close as an Interior Designer; this job requires me to create beautiful and functional homes for my clients. That probably explains why when I was doing my chores at my grandma home, I was putting so much attention on the layout and functionality of our home. The key in decorating is to combine materials, textures, colours, play with the height of the objects that you will use to decorate, but remember that everything has to have a balance and be in harmony, this is what makes a space look unique and special....
