24.01.2022 Custom joinery is an investment but one worth every penny if it is conceived and designed specifically for you and your lifestyle. This custom unit was designed for a busy family with 2 school-age boys. Behind these beautiful matt painted doors and blackbutt framing is storage for school bags, coats and sports gear as well as stationary, a printer and a charging station plus a whole lot more.

21.01.2022 One size may fit all but it doesn't mean it will suit everyone. Take kitchen drawers for example. Don't get me wrong - drawers in the kitchen are a god-send (goodbye to getting on your hands and knees to get that thing at the very back of a cupboard!). But, don't pepper your kitchen with all of the same drawers throughout. Think about what you need to store and how you are going to access it. This tall, narrow drawer is perfect for s...heet pans, muffin tins, cutting boards and roasting trays. Like a filing drawer it is easy to find just what you need and you don't have to lift everything out of the drawer to get that one pan that you need. 19.01.2022 I think every husband I've ever met, including my own, has declared that "we don't need cushions - they just get in the way". The truth is though that a room just isn't finished until the room is "dressed" and, yes, this includes cushions. They add that je ne sais quoi that makes a space sing. While I haven't won over every naysayer, I have converted a few!

19.01.2022 This floor tile! It's the perfect complement for the laundry/shower room in a beachside home with Art Deco leanings. Everyone sees something different in the pattern, from beading to shells to a woven basket. What do you think?

10.01.2022 There are lots of definitions of luxury but one of my favourites is a having a dressing room all to yourself. We created this very feminine walk-in wardrobe for one of our favourite clients. Designed to complement the beautiful original period details, we converted an unused guest room into a spacious, organised and dreamy space.

09.01.2022 It's official....colour and pattern are back (well, for some of us, they never left )! While I love a good, block neutral as much as the next designer, I am reviling in the return of colour and pattern throughout our homes. If you are unsure how to incorporate it, start with a small print like this gorgeous hand-blocked geometric from @waltergtextiles that we used on guest room curtains.

Did you know that this decorative pattern dates back to the ancient Egyptians and was used in road design in the Roman empire? How's that for pedigree?
