25.01.2022 Word for 2021? Journey! I’m someone who sets a goal and then goes full throttle to achieve it. This dogged determination has served me well in life. I graduated from my Bachelor of Business with the highest grade point average, and I went on to write articles for Australia’s leading media outlets and speeches for Prime Ministers. But the problem when you focus on just the goal is you don’t enjoy the journey. ... And that’s a shame. The journey is full of highs and lows, triumphs and challenges. It’s during the journey you get to decide and show this world what your made of. So this year I’m focusing on enjoying the journey. Enjoying learning about running a business. Enjoying meeting new people and clients. Enjoying digging deep when facing challenges and popping the champagne to celebrate success. The journey is life itself and this year I’m going to enjoy it.
