17.01.2022 @coach.jarradkay talks about the importance of one the constraints we implement in our athletes training program. Using the hurdles we can improve the front side mechanics of the athlete and produce greater knee drive. - @luke_winzar #thespeedproject

17.01.2022 Coach @agudge in action taking GWS star @tim.taranto through an analysis of his start and acceleration technique. Main points from analysis showed: Could be more explosive from the start and have a strong power line at toe off... Need more efficiency at switching his legs over to help maximise his horizontal force application. We added in two constraints to help address these components: 1. Cue - explode out like a jet plane 2. Cones -land at the cones, aiming to dictate his step length and switch his legs over a little quicker to land underneath his centre of mass - @luke_winzar #thespeedproject

16.01.2022 Athlete Analysis Check out @noah_mcgrath_ initial analysis. Our focus with Noah’s acceleration is trying to make his first step more efficient. Aiming for him to land more underneath his centre of mass and maximise horizontal force.... With his max speed work we will develop greater frontside mechanics.
