17.01.2022 Qld Regional Challenge - WC Basketball Day 1 of the Qld Regional Challenge proved to be fast paced and up tempo with some very tightly contested matchups. Repla...cing the Northern and Southern Challenge format of 2019, this concept was born from the COVID-19 lockdown as an opportunity for basketballers from all over Qld to come together. The competition welcomes new team Capricorn Coast Pirates into the mix, but without a doubt Fraser Coasters are the big improvers stepping up to defeat Cairns and Rockhampton Black in their first two games. Tomorrow (Sunday) starts with the Quarter Finals where teams are gunning for a spot in the Semi-Finals 8:00am Mackay v Capricorn Coast (Del Harney Court) 8:00am Gold Coast v Fraser Coast (Barrie Brady Court) 9:10am Toowoomba v Rockhampton Green (Del Harney Court) 9:10am Suncoast v Cairns (Barrie Brady Court)
