23.01.2022 2020 Festival POSTPONED - !!! There are many issues and hurdles we as volunteers face trying to make this festival a success. As a result of these issues as well as the Drought and firestorms, we have no option but to POSTPONE our 2020 attempt at holding the festival in Dubbo. We still need plenty of volunteers DURING the week of the event, but more urgently, we really do need volunteers and helpers in: Budgeting - Applying for funding - Contacting possible sponsors and cont...inuing to work towards the festival in 2021. We thank all those people who have already expressed to help and everyone who has and is supporting this amazing event already. The 2018 festival was something not to be missed and we can not wait to share The Spirit of The Planet in Dubbo again next year!

20.01.2022 Indigenous People united across Australia today for the first ever Nation Dance. Tribes from across the country all danced as one at the same time for Culture, for country, for children, for future, for rain! People from across Wiradjuri Nation joined in Dubbo today and danced as one on Tubba-gah Country.

15.01.2022 It was an amazing yet almost surreal day when the groups started turning up in 2018! Some familiar faces will hopefully join us again in 2020 to share their culture and traditions! 14.01.2022 The groups from around the world loved sharing their culture and traditions with the school children of dubbo and the central west! Watch this space as next year there's more School Cultural Immersion Experiences set to happen and the kids get such a hands-on, first hand experience of learning culture and meeting Traditional Indigenous People from around the world!

10.01.2022 Understanding is key to acceptance! It doesn't matter where you come from, what side you play for, or where your loyalties lie, we can always do something to show each other, that each persons individual feelings and beliefs do matter and that it doesn't matter where you come from or what you believe, because it's our similarities that unite us and our differences that make us unique! Remember we're all running the same race and playing the same game and it's much easier to do that when you're enjoying it, building each other up and helping the people around you instead of pulling them down!

06.01.2022 No more sunburn for our international guests on the long drives. We went as dark as we were allowed on the windows. Now to get the upholstery on the seats fixed :)

05.01.2022 Lewis Burns, the visionary and founder of The Spirit of The Planet, Dubbo Australia, is always busy sharing his Culture, whether it's in his daily life, community or across the world! Nation Dance, happened Australia wide on 1.12.19, with 68 nations involved and Dubbo being one of them. The local Nation Dance was hosted by the Traditional owners on Tubba-gah country and was organised by Lewis and the Talbragar Wiradjuri Dancers! Another proud moment of connecting cultures together for a common purpose and for the greater good! #UnityWithinCommunity!
