14.01.2022 Three reasons our household loves our Barley and Organic Lavander Heat Bags :: 1. That small window of time at the end of the day when you get to take a breather and relax. Sometimes it's literally only 5 mins before falling into bed ~ our heat bags take 2 mins in the microwave with a small cup of water. Sometimes in winter, especially if you work on a computer, we don't realise our shoulders and neck are tense until we consciously relax the muscles! Au revoir, tension heada...che 2. Kids love to snuggle them when getting into bed on a chilly night. Better than a hot water bottle because when the lavender scent gradually wears off you can rub your essential oil of choice on the fabric 3. We like making them! 14.01.2022 Here is a story :: a few months ago I spoke with Ray and his team at our locally run Woodwork Workshop, that provides employment and training for people with disabilities in an environment suited to their needs. With over 35 years of carpentry experience, they've made up these sturdy hardwood shoe pullers that will get your sneakers, boots or gumboots off in an instant! $59 plus $10 postage Aus wide.. with $10 donation for each one sold going back to the Workshop to help with new tools or whatever they see fit. I was hoping they'd be ready with plenty of time for Father's Day.. but you know... 2020. Anyway, not to worry, we can all still enjoy automated shoe removal after a big day!

07.01.2022 Useful, durable, feels good to use and is good for us ~ the criteria for the items we stock at The Sprout House. Our scrub sets (pot scrubber, dish brush and replacement head) certainly fit the bill with wooden handles, natural fibre bristles, and a hook to hang the dish brush up. $19.95 available in the Store now. After all, unavoidable chores are certainly made more enjoyable by using good tools!

More like a pre-Christmas small business scurry) Thanks you everyone who has their orders in so far, getting in early means you will be able to enjoy festivities in the lead up to Dec 25 without worrying about your shopping list!
