15.01.2022 It’s with a heavy heart that we must announce that once again, The Stables at Stones will be closing its doors for the foreseeable future. While it pains us to write this so soon after reopening, the simple truth is that COVID is not going away as we had hoped and we all must do all that we can to reduce the spread. In line with state health authorities we have closed the restaurant as of Wednesday, the 8th of July. We cannot thank you all enough for the last few weeks of res...taurant service. 12.01.2022 Stones of the Yarra Valley is delighted to invite all the wonderful artists among us to attend the Stones and Meletos precinct between October 19 - January 29 to paint or draw any scene they choose on our beautiful property. Headed by TarraWarra Museum of Art's Curator Anthony Fitzpatrick, our panel of judges will narrow down a collection of 25 pieces that will then be judged to find our winners! Our first prize winner will be flown to Rome in October... 2021* and be provided with 4 weeks of stunning accommodation at Casa Bobolino, in the enchanting 3,000 year old town of Cortona, Tuscany. The Second Prize will receive a payment of $1000 and the winner of the Third Prize will receive a payment of $750. 08.01.2022 We are absolutely over the moon to announce that The Stables at Stones will be reopening on Friday June 5th, for restaurant service! Due to the nature of reopening, we will be operating a shared plates dining experience for both lunch and dinner services. Lunch will be a $65 set menu of shared plates, and dinner shared plates plus dessert for $80. Bookings essential, with seating times 12pm 2pm or 2pm 4pm for lunch, and 6pm late for all dinner services. Due to the size ...of the restaurant the largest group size per individual booking is 6 pax. Bookings of 6 or more will be seated on separate tables as per the advice from state government. For bookings and additional information call us on (03) 87273000 Following all government regulations, the restaurant will seat only 20 guests at a time and be adhering to all recommended procedures in order to keep our guests and staff safe. 07.01.2022 As of today, Monday the 23rd of March 2020, the doors to The Barn at Stones of the Yarra Valley, The Stables at Stones and No.7 Healesville will be closed until further notice. Meletos will be consolidating its offerings solely into takeaway, and will operate out of The Providore at Meletos, with the launch of the Meletos Convenience Store. We will be offering takeaway pizza, ready-made-meals and ingredients alongside The Providore's incredible selection of local produce. We... will also be expanding our product range to include the essentials, turning the space into a one-stop shop for our wonderful local community. The Farmhouse at Meletos will remain open for those wanting an escape to the country. You can rest assured that we are honouring all health and safety regulations, with our sole priority being on providing a beautiful country escape for those wanting some fresh air. In regard to all seated venues, the Federal Government have made the decision to close all non-essential services in a bid to flatten the curve of this devastating pandemic, and to hopefully alleviate pressure on our health system. This is the right thing to do, and we will of course honour this decree. To our staff, who have weathered the storm of uncertainty over the last few weeks: we want to say a heartfelt thank you for your passion, your dedication, and most importantly your understanding. We are so sorry that it has come to this. You are what makes our venues so special to so many, and when the time comes, we can’t wait to re-open our doors and welcome you all back. To our guests, past and future, we thank you for your support and for your understanding. Without you we are nothing. To our future Stones weddings who have been forced to postpone, thank you for your kindness and consideration. When the time comes, we promise to deliver you everything you have ever dreamt your wedding would be and more. This is a challenging time for so many, but as we all begin the process of self-isolation there has never been a more important time for us all as a global community to come together as one. When the dust settles may we emerge united, stronger, more understanding, caring, supportive, loving, enthusiastic, zealous, inspired, passionate, empathetic, adventurous, engaged and attentive. May we emerge more respectful of the fact that no matter which corner of this floating blue marble we call home, we are all in this together.
