15.01.2022 Following on from our last post about the different types of staircases we offer, this one here is a concealed stringer staircase. The treads and risers are cut tight between the wall and the stringer underneath is hidden or concealed. There is a Shadowline detail in the nosing where the tread and riser meet. That can be changed to suit your design though. Maybe a 20 or 30mm over hang with some LED strips in the nosing if you wish. 12.01.2022 You probably wouldnt believe me when I say how tricky these stairs were from measure to install but its so worth it when I see a photo like this. With only 1 wall on this flight and 2 walls on the staircase below, every stringer had to be made structural for support. This means no posts to the floor American Oak treads and Handrail with wrought Iron balusters put a bit of an edge to this modern hamptons duplex set just one block back from Manly Beach. We did 4 staircases... in these 2 homes and it took around a month to complete due to the sheer size of them and the all the finer details that go into it. Worth it?
