08.01.2022 'Health is not valued until sickness comes'. This quote so often resonates with me. I don't realise how much I take my health for granted until illness strikes, like at the present moment! With a number of my clan fighting viruses, including myself, living healthfully is even more important. We turn to our food, and look deeper for the best nutrition to combat whatever the ailment is at the time, 1950's style! Got a cold? Then we stock up on vitamin rich fruits or boil an ...onion and make onion tea (surprisingly palatable ;) I love that we live such a healthy lifestyle, as prevention is always better than cure, so we ensure we best prepare our bodies for times like these by storing as much ammunition as possible to fight the nasties!
