21.01.2022 Ok it looks like we are are experiencing our second hot day for summer this year - a bit of that Adelaide weather creeping in from the north, it's past mid-day, the cockle train isn't running and it's heading towards 38 degrees with a forecast top of 40 within the next 2 hours. Not a soul about, apart from the occasional mad dog or Englishman who for reasons only known to themselves absolutelty mus go out in the noon day sun, particularly when that northerly wind is now gusti...ng up to 35k's Due to the hot wqeather (and we are in an heritage listed tin shed - no lining, cladding, insulation, or air conditioning systems allowed) we will be closed for the remaining 3 or so hours left in this afternoon, as whilst it may only be 40 outside, the heat radiating off the tin makes it even worse for both staff and customers inside. Methinks its time to do some more paperwork at home Cheers, and we'll be back on deck tomorrow! Gareth See more

19.01.2022 The June long weekend is almost here! Escape and chase away those winter blues with an afternoon of jazz guitar. Sunday 11th June from 2pm. You can bring your own platter and enjoy a fine selection of local single malt whisky gin, wines, and of course beer! Cheers!

13.01.2022 Another 40 degree day with no trains running so we’re closed. Stay hydrated out of the heat and hopefully the northerlies won’t create extra work for the firies. See you tomorrow or over the weekend!

03.01.2022 It’s been a busy few days here as we all adjust to the new normal. Consequently that has meant less time on social media. Our malt supplier has closed, so we’v...e temporarily shut down our brew house and are putting our stills to sleep after a good clean. Cellar door is now shut until further notice, all sales are online (and we do have a new one up on the website- cask strength apera cask - perfect for living in interesting times). There will be a few more releases yet in the lead up to winter, plus a nice surprise release for fans of Australian Whisky. We’ll chat more later, in the meanwhile stay safe and considerate.
