We were scheduled to trade this Sunday at Palm Beach Markets, but the organisers, at the advisement of the Northern Beaches Council, have cancelled this event.... You can still purchase your favourite condiments through our online store. Contrary to its name, it actually taste slightly sweet and is just smashable in large quantities. 10.01.2022 A healthy start to the day. Layered oats with your choice of The Sticky Pot range. Delicious and full of wonderful fruity flavours, this overnight oat recipe is easy to make for breakfast ahead of time. Add extra fruit, granola or your favourite nuts and seeds over the top for added flavor, texture and protein hit!... INGREDIENTS 2 cups rolled oats 1/2 cup yoghurt (plain greek yogurt or coconut yogurt) 1 cup milk (dairy or nut milk) 2 tbsp honey 1/2 cup strawberry jam 1 Tbsp chia seeds Fruit layers: 1/2 cup chosen fruit 1 tbsp honey Serve: Extra fruit chopped in half Nuts & seeds of your choice (pistachio nuts, sunflower seeds, buckwheat oats) METHOD Combine the liquid ingredients (yoghurt, milk, honey and jam or marmalade) into a large container with a lid. Stir to combine well followed by adding the oats, chia seeds and stir through. Place the lid on and put it in the fridge overnight. To serve; spoon 2-3 tbsp of the oat mixture into a glass, spoon 1 tbsp of strawberry jam over the top, followed by another layer of the oats and a final layer of the strawberry jam. Garnish with extra chopped strawberries and a sprinkle of nuts and seeds of your choice. Serve: 3 glasses Prep time: 10 minutes Plus overnight to set

08.01.2022 Buttermilk Chicken burger with homemade pickled cucumber, kimchee slaw and topped with Pineapple and Cardamom Jam. INGREDIENTS 300gm chicken thigh (side note; we used thigh pieces because fat = flavour) Buttermilk ... Kimchee (if you have a local Asian grocer, hit them up for this) Red and white cabbage Shallots Kewpie mayonnaise 1 slice American cheddar Pickled cucumbers - (my mum harvested the cucumbers from her garden) thanks Mum! 200gm KOREAN Fried Chicken flour mix 200ml water METHOD - Use Buttermilk to tenderise chicken thigh. Do this for at least an hour (or if youre super prepared, the night before). Thinly slice both red and white cabbage. Get 2 Tbsp of kimchee and finely slice. Finely slice shallots using the whole thing. Mix with red and white cabbage and gradually add Kewpie Mayo to mixture until nicely coated. Set aside. Mix water and KFC flour mix to create a batter. Heat oil to in pot and bring to temperature Coat chicken in KFC batter and cook in oil until coloured. Finish in oven for 15mins at 160 or until cooked through. Assemble your burger by starting with the kimchee slaw on the base of the bun. Add chicken, cheese, put pickled cucumber on top And spread #pineapple and cardamon jam to the top of the bun.
