25.01.2022 In time for Christmas, these beautifully packaged panettones by @simonjohnsonprovidore and Breramilano are moist, fruit (or chocolate) filled and make a refreshing change to a cracker on the Christmas table or just the perfect gift. These panettone are rich with dried fruits and spices and has a high butter content. It is light with a melt in your mouth and quality - delish!

21.01.2022 To celebrate the release of our new white wine, for two weeks commencing Friday 27th November, all purchases over $150 will receive a complimentary 500ml bottle of our Verdelho. In a French glass bottle, with Vinolok technology closure, these bottles are ideal for refilling in-store with any of our four varieties of wine.

20.01.2022 Fresh in this week is a small batch of Tuber Magnatum white truffles from the Alba region of Northern Italy. The white truffles are the highest quality available. The intricate white veining and marbling throughout the Alba truffle produces an aroma and flavour that is gastronomically unique and wonderfully intoxicating. We suggest enjoying these shaved over our fresh egg pasta with melted butter and Parmesan.

Known for their caviar-esque pearls that literally burst with flavour, the small beads inside are perfect for sprinkling on top of your meal, adding to a dressing for a bold flavour or stirred into your favourite cocktail for a zesty punch.

Just some of the lovely things to get your hands on this weekend at The Stores Grocer. Join us to taste @witchesfallswinery wines and cheeses tomorrow from 11am-2pm and if you're having a toasted Croque Monsieur while you're here be sure to request a shaving of truffle. Our regular gourmet sausage sizzle is running from 9.30am in the cafe courtyard, featuring housemade pork, rapini and chilli sausages (with caramelised onion on bread for $2.50 each).
