03.01.2022 Hi to all art families, It’s been awhile since we’ve seen so many of you. We hope 2021 is the start of better things to come and the return to art classes for all. We were glad to have several students attend our short Term 4 classes, some of whom’s work can be seen below. Sadly for the first time in the art schools history, we were unable to run our end of year summer exhibition, so enjoy this small snippet of art works. We are pleased to be retuning to art classes for Term... 1. Starting the first week of February - kicking off with Tuesday the 2nd and rolling on from there. Looking forward to seeing all our students returning for the new year and welcoming those starting classes for the first time. As always this is our drawing term and we can’t wait to get it underway. 01.01.2022 Congratulations to all our Studio School of Art students who were successful in being selected for the Fireworks 2020 Exhibition. It was fantastic to see all the familiar faces at the online opening last Friday, 11th Dec. This year we had in both Art and Design entries with 3 of our current students Steph. M who received an honourable mention, Gillian P and our own Lucy Nelson along with a past student Alana S . Well done to all. This year was a very proud occasion for the Ne...lson family as for a second time one of our children was fortunate to receive an award at the fireworks exhibition @ the Incinerator Gallery. CONGRATULATIONS Lucy on receiving THE FIREWORKS DESIGN AWARD A great achievement, following a very challenging year. All your effort, and endless hours of work was well worth it. Your package design and posters are wonderful. As the judge Francine Sculli expressed ‘[She] just wanted to go out and buy your product’. Well done!
