25.01.2022 Mixed succulent pack available - message me any time with your orders and I will try my darndest to fill them! In the immortal words of Joe Dirt; Life’s a garden... dig it (But for goodness’ sake, don’t destroy the roots!!)

25.01.2022 SALE POST: EFTPOS available, free local delivery on orders over $30. Prices on photos. HOW TO ORDER: send me a PM with the photos of the ones you’d like and we can lock it in Beautiful arrangements made in secondhand pots/mugs/cups/etc, so some do show wear&tear. Hardy plants requiring minimal effort & watering, but bringing maximum joy ... If you’d like something bigger/smaller/indoor/full sun/specific colours/etc. just send me a message and I’d be happy to make it for you NOTE: There are no duplicate arrangements, sometimes just two differently angled photos of the same one.

24.01.2022 Happy (belated) Muffin Break Monday!! This week I am featuring some indoor arrangements, meaning they have low light requirements and don’t need to he in full sun to thrive. Perfect for your home or office

24.01.2022 Come see me tomorrow morning from 9am - I will have arrangements as always, plus a few stand alone plants for sale

22.01.2022 New leaf on one of the monsteras So satisfying not to be killing indoor plants anymore haha Fun tip: all my indoor plants sit in a soil mixture of half potting mix and half native mix (what I use for my succulents) - this helps combat my tendency to overwater and stops my plants rotting

22.01.2022 It’s Muffin Break Mondaaaaaayyy!! The sun is shining, my plants are happy, and I am in high spirits Have a spectacular week everyone - Happy Almost Spring

21.01.2022 It’s Muffin Break Monday with a colourful indoor foliage added this week. Have a look while you wait for your morning coffee

19.01.2022 I will be out and about this Saturday at the Wagga Civic Theatre. Come grab a coffee, have a wander and take home your very own Perfectly Imperfect Home Companion

18.01.2022 Echeveria Imbricata - I sprayed them with white oil for pest protection, but ended up spraying off the powdery coating... Oopsie! The new growth has come back powdery and beautiful though, so not all bad news

18.01.2022 Come on down to the Civic Theatre Precinct for markets right by the lagoon 9am-1pm

18.01.2022 My most recent fill my bowl request - before & after This one is on a patio, so will not get any direct sun. I had to use low light plants that will thrive in this environment - luckily it’s still a very bright space! You’ve got South American cactus garden on top, African plains in the middle (with a little candle holder to add mood) and a lush green rainforest on the bottom ... #customorder #fillmybowl #thesucculentshelter

17.01.2022 Another custom order went to a new home this week - an indoor arrangement of pearls to decorate the furniture the client sells. Hopefully the pearls bring you lots of luck in your business

15.01.2022 Market at my place until 1pm today! 35 Northcott Parade, EFTPOS available Indoor and outdoor arrangements. Big and small! Monsteras, swiss cheese vines, peace lilies, and succulents galore

15.01.2022 Dreary weather, but we’re still here! Come down to Apex Park for the markets 9am-1pm x

14.01.2022 It’s been a hectic few weeks with my day job, my planty side business and rehearsing two shows! I’m sorry this is late again - hopefully by next week I’m back on track In the meantime it’s Muffin Break Mondaaaayyyy (celebrated on Tuesday this week...)

13.01.2022 Now that we’ve covered watering, let’s move onto light! So important for keeping your plants tight, bright and alright Very few succies withstand a full day of sun (especially in the middle of Wagga summer), but I have found that aeoniums, agave, powder covered ones like blue chalk stick, and jade plants are the most hardy. Pay attention to the leaves - they will always tell you if something is wrong

12.01.2022 Have a momo-dumpling and a wander this Saturday down by the lake - I’ll be there will all my planties

09.01.2022 I am happy to take on any challenge, but sometimes bite off more than I can chew... this Eiffel Tower sat in my storeroom for months before I got the courage to arrange it! It’s about 1.2ms tall and contains around 80 succulents. It’s loving the morning sun and I’m keeping the moss moist to promote strong root growth Available for purchase - message me anytime to arrange a visit

09.01.2022 Here is my cheap tip for humpday: large pots make a gorgeous feature in our gardens, homes and porches. BUT the concrete ones usually weigh a tonne and cost a limb. Why not pop into your local bargain shop or secondhand store to get a plastic version of the same thing? You’d be surprised; some (not all) actually make a decent replica

07.01.2022 Muffin Break Monday Apparently it’s an orange theme too, surprised myself with that one haha I hope everyone has a wonderful week! #muffinbreakmonday #muffinbreakwagga #visitwagga #thesucculentshelter #succulentsofinsta #succulentsofinstagram #succulents #plantsofinstagram #succulentlove #ilovesucculents #plantsmakepeoplehappy #succulentcollection #waggawagga #succulentaddict #succulentobsessed #succulentlover #succulentsaustralia #succulentsaus #plantloversaustralia #gardening #plantsofinstagram #recycle #upcycle #ecofriendly #reducereuserecycle #wastenotwantnot #supportlocalbusiness #supportsmallbusiness #localssupportinglocals

07.01.2022 Trying my hand at more than just succulents... These beauties are sitting in Seasol water at the moment, growing big strong roots. The hard part will be finding pots big enough for these monstrous Monsteras!

07.01.2022 It’s Muffin Break Monday gloomy weather outside, but with enough plants the indoors can be your new oasis

07.01.2022 I am a CLASSIC over-waterer, because I just want to care for everything all the time... now that the weather has changed, so will the watering needs of our plants. My mission now is to sort through and save the overwatered ones, then hope for the best in Spring : @thesucculentsbox

06.01.2022 It’s Muffin Break Tuesday I’m focusing more on indoor arrangements as they are becoming increasingly popular - these babies are great to spruce up your home

06.01.2022 A teddy bear cactus (the cutest thing ever) fell over onto my hand and I had to pick A THOUSAND tiny needle-hairs out with tweezers... Betrayed by my own babies... those ungrateful little shits! I still love them though Have you guys and gals got any horror stories?

06.01.2022 #indoorplantsdecor I’ve been testing out different succulents in lower light to see what would be suitable for the indoors... This Lace Aloe is thriving in filtered light and would make a stunning indoor feature Available for purchase now, so please send me a message if you’d like to make this one YOUR perfectly imperfect home companion

04.01.2022 LOVING all the flowers this time of year - the echeveria’s flowers will always be my favourite though

03.01.2022 Happy first day of Spring everyone The sun is shining, my echeverias will soon start growing, and I will have better weather to be out in the garden It’s all coming up Millhouse, baby

02.01.2022 Muffin Break Monday has come around again - and what a beautiful day it is! Seems that we’re getting into hotter weather, so will have to shuffle some plants around to get more shade. Slip, slap, slop yourself and your precious babies #muffinbreakmonday #muffinbreakwagga #summer #thesucculentshelter

01.01.2022 Hey, it’s me Garden centres, second hand shops and garage sales are my favourite places now See y’all in Bunnings on the weekend xx

01.01.2022 Come see myself and a bunch of creative vendors at the markets tomorrow! Even though it’ll be a chilly day, the rain is said to be holding off. So come and stroll around
