19.01.2022 Love doing life with you Today marks a month since I made big changes to my lifestyle. These changes included healthy food, exercise that suits my needs and body, sustainable living and positive self-care practice, and check out the smile on me I can’t believe the effect it has had on all aspects of my life Happy Sunday

18.01.2022 Zero waste life sounds pretty good! I am so into this book, it’s be best little guide to implementing new habits into my life I am experimenting with making my own natural, non toxic skin care, home cleaning and household products that I’m so excited to share I can’t actually believe the change in my mood and feelings towards my every day life and behaviours now that I’m making a conscious effort to live sustainably, it gives me such a buzz

18.01.2022 My new favourite form of transport I actually can’t rave about my bike enough I have just uploaded a new blog about exercise; HIIT vs LISS and how it’s changing my life Link in bio

18.01.2022 HAPPY SATURDAY! I dunno what it is about eating out of a coconut that makes the food taste better I have been so flat out with work this week I haven’t had a chance to do any of the tasks I enjoy doing and haven’t been able to spend any time with Jake I have been taking joy from little wins like eating well through the week and starting back at yoga which has been amazing It is the one hour of my day where my mind isn’t going a million miles a minute I am actually looking forward to Monday where all my work deadlines are met and I can refocus

13.01.2022 This is one day of plasma infusions for me while in ICU! Have you ever donated, or considered donating blood? It’s one of our most precious resources, and the plasma from your donations is helping keep me alive! Since becoming unwell, I have had 3 rounds of plasma infusions, more commonly called intravenous immunoglobulin infusions (IVIG). This infusion has healthy antibodies from donors like yourself that replaces my dysfunctional antibodies so I can get well again ... I have 3 days worth of infusions, at the highest dose for my height and weight, sometimes litres of plasma! Within a few days of having the infusions, my breathing becomes stronger, my ability to swallow food and water improves and my drooping muscles start to work again, it’s honestly liquid gold If you have ever considered donating, I urge you to look into the benefits of donating. There are often shortages of plasma and blood products as they are so precious, this is so scary as it is the only thing that brings me back to functionality. Thank you for all the beautiful messages I have received in the past 24 hours, I’m absolutely blessed to have you all in my life See more

10.01.2022 A happy little Vegemite enjoying post workout recovery I have been getting so sore while my body gets used to yoga again, and I have always been so bad at focussed recovery after exercise This @shaktimats is insane it’s a million little spikes on a cushioned mat based on the Indian bed of nails. The spikes are all placed to evenly distribute pressure and to stimulate blood flow and recovery I have started laying on it in bed while I read during my nighttime routin...e. It’s really helping me to relax before sleep and release the tension in my muscles after yoga. It’s the most crazy sensation that feels so strangely good Swipe across and zoom in to see the pretty prickly pattern it leaves on the skin! What do you do to recover post exercise? See more

10.01.2022 My happy place I’m such a piggie when it comes to the beautiful treats at @thesourcetraralgon I have learnt to eat them in moderation now haha It has been really interesting to see the change in my cravings and hunger now that I’m eating dried fruit, nuts and maybe a sneaky hemp protein ball every other day I don’t crave as much junk as I used to I have been eating intuitively and listening harder to what my bod is craving and it’s helping a lot I can’t wait until my pantry is just jars filled with bulk food goodies and there is no more plastic packets

08.01.2022 Nourishment over punishment It seems like common sense, but when you’re full, do you stop eating or keep going? I don’t stop until my plate is empty! as that is what I was taught from a young age, and now that I pay for the food I don’t want to waste money! Even though my body tells me what I need, I often don’t listen or ignore entirely I have started to listen to what my body is asking for and the results have been so interesting. I no longer crave things, I ...have gained weight but I’m also focused on not letting that affect me, as I am going for nourishment over punishment I am currently writing a blog about food behaviours, I am so intrigued by this topic and how my eating behaviours learnt from a young age have shaped me as a person See more

04.01.2022 BEEP BEEP! I am so bloody excited by this new addition I’m blessed that my parents are cycling fanatics and had this bike as a SPARE! Wow I may have added the basket I feel like I had actually forgotten how to ride a bike, getting on it for the first time was so daunting and gaining the confidence to take it instead of the car is so much bigger than I imagined the thought of helping the planet and my heart is pretty good motivation though I must say I’m currently writing a blog about my exercise, both intentional and non-intentional, physical and mental to strengthen my body and mind stay tuned!

04.01.2022 Throw back to this time last year when @smc and I were in Indian soaking up the sun, incredible views and eating our weight in curry Fast forward 12 months and I have been in and out of hospital for the last 6 with a neuromuscular disorder called Myasthenia Gravis that’s confusing even the best neurologists in the business I have needed a breathing tube and feeding tube because my muscles refuse to work with me now. I have been hiding away because I hate talking abou...t being sick, how it has changed the way I look and how it stops me doing so many things a 26 year old should be doing I have avoided blogging and socialising because my body has begun failing me and I lost all of my confidence in myself. I get nervous and vulnerable talking about how my health affects my everyday life because I don’t want to complain, there are so many sicker, poorer and more struggling individuals than me. I feel like I begun to only post the positives to social media, so now I want to start to write about the good, the bad and the ugly. I want people to reach out to me and tell me their struggles and how they manage with different debilitating chronic health conditions I have received so many beautiful messages from friends, colleagues that I miss dearly, people that I have never met, and family who light candles and pray for me, so I thank you all so much for that Humans are made to connect and communicate, share experiences, love and support. So I want to do that with you all follow my journey through my medical practices, trying different alternative healing, nourishment of my body through food and exercise and looking after my mental health See more

02.01.2022 Do you know anyone else that gets THIS excited about bin day? Since becoming more sustainable in our household, we can get away with putting the garbage bin out every second week now! On the flip side of course, our recycling bin is overflowing Changing just little things like making sure all food scraps go in the compost, washing and reusing any glass and recycling soft plastics at designated recycling centres (Coles), this has made a massive impact on our waste I have had a lot of people ask me how they can start to make changes in their homes and I’m so pleased to be sharing what has worked for us! It’s a really rewarding feeling
