The weather crosses will be presented live by Tim Davies from 6am until 9am. Mooloolaba Chamber has worked in conjunction with Visit Sunshine Coast to secure operators and activities for the set crosses. Come down to watch all the TV action. The cold weather has crept up on us and for many shelters and items to keep warm is not always readily available, so this year, like previous years, we are holding our Beanie and Blanket Appeal... WE NEED YOUR HELP to fill our large crate, which is located just past reception, with beanies, blanket, sleeping bags, gloves, scarves, jackets, and any items which keep us all warm during winter. The Appeal will run until Sunday 18th July, with collected items distributed to local community organisations who assist those in our community in need each day.

11.01.2022 On Sunday 11th October former players from the Brisbane Broncos NRL team paid a special visit to Mooloolaba Beach. In an exciting initiative between The Surf Club Mooloolaba and the Brisbane Broncos Community Program, former players including Jack Reed (program coordinator), Michael Hancock, David Stagg, Scott Prince, Matt Gillette, joined the Mooloolaba nippers on the beach for a training session. The Nippers were super excited to train with some of their idols. The Nippers were able to blend their surf sport with some leagues skills. Cheers to the Broncos and our strong partnership which shares the passion of keeping our Sunshine Coast kids healthy, active, fit and busy!

We stopped work at 11am to reflect, remember and honour those brave men and women who fought for our freedom and are no longer with us today. This year the small service arranged by Mooloolaba Surf Life Saving Club Ex-Serviceman & Woman, involved Mooloolaba Surf Life Saving Nippers who raised the flag after the ode and last post.
