25.01.2022 Spring meet up in the park with some of the lovely members of our Tai Chi group. Living through the pandemic times many of our classes went online with Zoom. This first 4D coffee and catchup plus some Qigong and Tai Chi practice was truly special and enjoyable for all of us social creatures to remain connected though practising social-distancing. So thankful to know everyone in the group is OK and well. #taichiforlife #taichiinthepark #connection #wellbeing #iso #socialdistancing
17.01.2022 Be in the moment, in Nature. Tai Chi moves synchronised with the rhythm of Life and Stillness at the Lagoon.... #lagoon #socialdistance #harmony #taichiforlife #taichianywhere
17.01.2022 Please check out and join my group SANE for Life supporting and promoting holistic wellness lifestyle including WFPB nutrition. TIA.
16.01.2022 Seated Wu Style Tai Chi There are several main styles of Tai Chi but for us over the years we still love the softer, medium-frame elegance and finesse of the Wu Style. Being able to learn or practise Tai Chi safely seated is a bonus for those who are frail, aged, recovering from illness or an operation or are (wheel) chair bound means they can improve their health, strengthen with movement and coordination exercise for wellbeing of mind, body and spirit.... #wustyletaichi #taijiquan #seatedexercise #rehab #relaxation #chairexercise #paraplegia
13.01.2022 Joining us for Tai Chi this year only just a few months ago, Sarah has won my heart by her enthusiastic and engaging nature and "nerdyness". She is learning fast and assimilated very well into our group, seriously lowering the mean and median age of this morning taichi group and I can see her being a amazing younger advocate and ambassador for the Art. Now that she has started her Tai Chi Qigong journey in her 20s, I am excited that she can have so many more years to discover, experience, enjoy, be inspired and be enlightened from all that will unfold for her. #taichiformillennials #taichi #taijiquan #taichiforlife #wellbeing #taonature #zeninspired #taichinotjustforseniors #qigongpractice #watchoutofmystickwhipmoves @ Sydney, Australia
13.01.2022 I truly enjoyed teaching Tai Chi and Qigong to this cohort. Kudos to the best final Year 12 high school students I have met - they learned quietly, quickly with much focus and attention. I sincerely wish them well as they are in the midst of their doing their HSC exams. Thank you to the Principal who believed that learning and practising Tai Chi and Qigong for the students would help with study stresses, boost confidence and help with mental and emotional wellbeing. #taichiclass #highschool #taichiforschools #qigongpractice #relaxation #focus #mentalhealth #emotionalwellbeing #year12 #HSC #studystress

09.01.2022 A glorious sunset and Alex moves with the rhythm and breath of Tai Chi, interwoven with the gentle hum of urban life in the suburbs. It is a joy to know we have managed to inspire our son and daughters and leave a legacy for future generations to experience, value and uphold the treasures from the Art, just like we have, thanks to Ah Po (grandmother) and our Parents. ... #taichifamily #taichiforlife #taichianywhere #taichiformillennials #theartofslowliving #legacy #livingtreasures
09.01.2022 Abiding social distancing and stay-at-home orders from our Aus government in this an unprecedented challenging time with Covid-19, we are grateful to be able to stay connected to our Tai Chi groups via Zoom classes. We appreciate and miss all the interactions from a regular class get-together and deeply yearn for the time when we can be physically together again. However, thanks to the internet and technology we can reach out far and wide and engage with others who love... Tai Chi Qigong since many of us now have the "time" but "no where to go" Please take care everyone, wherever you are in the world. We can overcome this together! Jan and Frank here sending you all our heartfelt thoughts and good wishes from Sydney. Keep safe!!! #weareinthistogether #stayhomebesafe #socialdistancing #flattenthecurve #taichiforlife #taichiviazoom
09.01.2022 This is so cute I had to share it The Ba Duan Jin or 8-sections of Brocade Qigong is a wonderful set to learn and practise and is one of our favourite Qigong. #baduanjin #baduanjinqigong
06.01.2022 Simple Joy One of the most rewarding part of being a teacher is the simple joy and contentment from having really friendly and fun folks on this Tai Chi journey together. Folks who are genuinely interested and openly wanting to spend their precious time engaging in, learning and practising Tai Chi and Qigong, each for their own personal reasons. I enjoy working with individuals but it's always extra sweet working with couples and families. Darren and Suzanne are a funny an...d cool couple and it is so enjoyable teaching them. Darren has been involved with Tai Chi from the 80s with his first teacher Earle Montague and has continued his love of martial arts. Here they are in the Archer pose, practising Eight Section Brocades Qigong. It is wonderful to be able inspire others to experience the benefits of Tai chi and Qigong for the first time but it is just super exciting to welcome back others who have learnt it years before. #taichi #taijiquan #taichiforlife #wellbeing #secondtime #taichijourney
06.01.2022 Enjoying a session of Sensing Hands in the presence of the light and shadows of the evening setting Sun. Practising connection and sensitivity. Ambience just magical. Nature is beautiful.
06.01.2022 Some beautiful moments of peace and serenity I love with these movements. They are some of my favourite dynamic warm up sequences that I do in my classes and this is the "Water Set". Moves that recollects the feel that you're a seaweed in the ocean amongst the corals and the marine life, swimming in a massive school of fish, coming down as rain and rising as vapour in the water cycle, cascading like the majestic waterfalls and frolicking and bathing in the lagoon. ... #dynamicwarmups #relaxation #expandingconsciousness #sea #oceanlife #seabreeze #watercooling #waterfall
05.01.2022 Enjoying the foliage and landscape this Autumn season in this beautiful park in Shinjuku. What a serene space to capture this vid of one of my favourite Qigong sets Mulan Qigong (#6): Dragon Phoenix Juggling Pearls. Music: Serenade to Spring - Songs from a Secret Garden
05.01.2022 We came across this amazing secret garden, a perfect sanctuary. Lush and green and filled with native Australian fauna and foliage Swain Garden is a hidden gem in middle of Sydney's suburbia. This living legacy of over 3 hectares created by Arthur Swain back in the 60s is a gift that today we can continue to enjoy this beautiful green space. ....... We found a spacious flat area that we could record one of our all time favourite taichi forms. So just with the accompanimen...t of nature's sounds and the cacophony from the cicadas, Frank demos the Wu Style "Fast Form". ... We are grateful to Grandmaster Ma Yueliang for sharing this wonderful legacy for us all to learn and may this form be practiced now and for many more years. #taichiforlife #mayueliang #WUSTYLETAICHI #fastform #agility #swaingardens
