25.01.2022 A little update from The Pavilion. Were moving Sundays back to Zin for our Long Lunch, so for now we say goodbye to Sunday Roast at The Pav. Were taking this ...opportunity to ready this gorgeous space for upcoming weddings & events, and are looking forward to seeing The Pavilion full of cheery faces again soon! If youre out on the Lowe Family Wine Co property, we welcome you to find a spot on The Pavilion lawns to devour one of Lowes local platters or just enjoy the view. And hopefully youll find yourself in this space for an event or celebrating a wedding soon..

08.01.2022 Last month we had water pouring out of the kitchen ceiling when the old hot water system burst! Thanks to some amazing tradies & local businesses, we got a new ...system in within a day. Now its time to replace the old ceiling which means - we have to stay out of the kitchen for a couple of days. Were trying to minimize any inconvenience and will only be closed Thursday. We will be open Friday & Saturday for coffee and cake but the kitchen will be closed until Monday 8am. Thanks for your understanding and patience. See more

05.01.2022 Yet another lovely 5 STAR review: Were coming back! This was our second visit to The Tannery and our only wish is that we could have stayed longer. Despite temperatures plummeting in the evening and overnight, we were cosy in front of the fires and enjoyed our home away from home. Well equipped, full of character and an easy walk into town, its a great place to base yourself. Our Inner-city dog couldnt believe the size of the backyard! Darren is very hospitable- very respo...nsive by text if you have any Qs and thoughtful in the provisions left for your arrival ( including pre-cut wood, a lovely bottle of wine etc). He also provides lots of valuable local knowledge in his arrival notes and tips. We spoilt ourselves by eating out but would have loved to have had a meal in the beautiful dining room if wed been there for longer. This is not the place to stay if youre after clinical or generic accommodation but if youre after some country charm and period character, this place has it in spades. 02.01.2022 Its been wonderful having our doors open and the restaurant full again. With everyones excitement to enjoy the food & wine Mudgee is known for, our bookings a...re filling up fast. All services through June are now full, with the exception of Mon 22nd & Fri 26th in which we still have our private dining room available for a large group booking (6-10pax). Saturdays are proving to be very popular and are almost at full capacity through most of July also. We encourage those planning a trip to Mudgee to book well in advance to ensure your spot. Apologies to those we are unable to seat and hope to see you at an alternate time soon.
