21.01.2022 It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the departure of The Taste of Tasmania’s Festival Director Brooke Webb. Brooke took the helm in 2017 and has overseen the rejuvenation and innovation of our wonderful Festival. She has been instrumental in changing the culture and relationship with the local, interstate and international community, creating a vibrant creative and visual identity for the Festival and cementing the festival brand as one of the flagship cultural and tou...rism events in Tasmania. It has been my privilege to lead and build the Taste of Tasmania into the robust, healthy and successful Festival it is today. It has been heart-warming to see local audiences and partners support us over the past three years, at the same time as we welcome new national and international audiences to Hobart, said Brooke. Hobart City Council will begin recruitment of a new Festival Director in the very near future. : Brooke with Caroline Ang (Managing Director of Sapphire Partners) and her daughter Ali at this year's Taste!
